Last Night:
347 PMPS - at +11.75 to start to get back on schedule :)
485 +2.25 - gave TOR
241 +6
181 +8
433 AMPS - at +12.75 because I overslept! :(
This Jet Lag is tough. I was 45 minutes late for our regular shot schedule yesterday morning, and made up 15 minutes with last night's shot, and then overslept this morning and we are now 1 hour late for our regular shot schedule :(

There was wetish poo with a bit of blood at the end (of the poo) in the litter box this morning, plus some real liquid poo over the top of the litter box and on the carpet this morning, when I woke up. I believe this was all J.D.'s, but the what looked like squirted out (sorry to be so graphic) watery liquid poo stuff on the carpet was pretty closed to dried, so must have happened late last night.

J.D. is eating fine this morning. Not a ton, I didn't give him any cypro, but eating regularly, especially after coming in from walks in the freezing cold weather..which we have had several of. He seems to feel a lot better this morning.

I did not give him any R this morning, and am hoping that he will bring himself down.

Re: 12/01 J.D. AMPS 433 feeling better, eating, still liquid

Morning Dyana & JD jet lag stinks. Hope you get back on track soon. Sorry about the liquid poo, feel better buddy! Glad he is eating ok. Have a good day!

I hope this is just a matter of J.D. being a bit out of sorts from travel. I would think about FortiFlora, though.

I've been giving him FortiFlora.

Last night, I was feeding him all sorts of food trying to get him to eat, and some had FortiFlora and he would eat some. This morning, I put more FortiFlora on his food, and he hasn't pooed yet this morning.
When we were in California, I was giving him Miralax morning and night (as he has a history of getting constipated while there), and I stopped giving it a couple days before we left as he was starting to get some wetter poo there.
He was pooing about twice a day while in California, when I think he normally goes about once a day.

I guess I should go test him.. He's relaxing on my bed, and I'm kind of afraid to test him..

+4.5 175 :-D That's pretty good, especially since he had a dolop (teaspoon) of HC added in the middle of his watery LC this morning, and a small handful of (about 15?) Temptations, this morning...all to get him to eat. Other than that he has eaten regular LC.

Re: 12/01 J.D. AMPS 433 feeling better, eating, still liquid

Good afternoon Dyana, Hope J.D.'s tummy starts feeling better soon. Sending good appy vines, as well as firm poo vines! Like the +4.5 :-D Hope you guys have a good Caturday and can get caught up from the jet lag.

Re: 12/01 J.D. AMPS 433 feeling better, eating, still liquid

Wow - quite a nice number with all the HC's. Temptations? Wow J.D., Leo is so jealous!!!

Yeah jet lag is tough, especially coming east in my opinion. I wonder how cats feel about it other than maybe sluggish and sleepy? Or maybe that is part of his troubles today.

(OT - Leo is currently enthralled by a big deer in the back yard about 15 feet away. I wish I could get my camera but that would scare the deer away!)

Re: 12/01 J.D. AMPS 433 feeling better, eating, still liquid

No it wouldn't. I have taken many pictures of deer close to the front of my house. Ah, come on..
That is so cool. And an 8 pointer buck (I read your condo). How beautiful!

I thought J.D. and Leo were having close to the same numbers today, but J.D. is on his way back up with a +8.25 of 214.

Recap:
433 AMPS
175 +4.5
105 +6
130 +7.25
214 +8.25
If he keeps rising like this, maybe I can shoot an hour early tonight and get back on schedule...knock on wood...

Re: 12/01 J.D. AMPS 433 feeling better, eating, still liquid

I guess the deer are more nervous up the road from you! We have a fence in the back, and they have to go several houses down to get on our side of the fence, so they are on yellow alert anyway. They are normally on the other side of the fence in a field behind us. So movement in the house makes them freeze, and a lot of movement makes them bolt. I've gotten pictures if I am slow and careful about it thought.

Good luck with shooting J.D. early - we don't need the both of them behaving badly! :-)

Yesterday J.D. was 12lbs 5.5oz on my scale and 12lbs 6oz on the vet's scale. He was 12lbs 9.5oz on my scale today.
Both around the same time of day.

He ate a little at PMPS. I hope he continues throughout the night.

I need to get to bed early tonight, so I can start to be on New Jersey time again.

Lisa, the deer around here, are mostly from the same herd. Although there was this doe that didn't hang with the herd and used to follow people around (probably someone's pet at one time), and that was a little scary..but I got some good pictures.
