Yesterday we had some nice low blues during the day and the inevitable bounce during the night. But she must have done a late cycle dive sometime, because I can't figure out what else caused that +4 this morning.

Neko was extra purry this morning. DH came back last night, so Neko had to claim his lap after breakfast. She lies sideways to the lap, and the first this she does is bury her nose in his elbow to warm it up. They she puts her paw on his arm to get it at just the right height to rest her head on. So DH sits in the chair with one shoulder quite a bit lower than the other. And Neko purrs and purrs away. She has us in her complete control. :lol: It's a sunny day again, yeah!, yard patrols are complete and kitties are now camped in the solarium.

Sounds like Neko's life is just as she wants. How nice of you both to oblige her! ;-)

Just curious if you've had any further contact w/ the folks at CSU? Yesterday was Grayson's 4 month anniversary since completing SRT, and we're scheduled to do his 3 mo bloodwork on Monday (he had an ear infection that appears to have skewed his numbers and behavior at that time, and I was tied up w/ work projects). I've e-mailed but not had any response, so I was just curious what kind of interaction others are having.

Hope Neko continues to do well.

isn't this weather lovely !!! I'll take the cooler temps if it means sun and no rain!!!! Looks like our 'kids' are hanging together today. Rupie steadfastly refusing to dip lower during the day and preferring to keep me up all night! It's Friday.. and we all know what happens with our kids on Friday nights! Hopefully they find some greens but not so swiftly that we need to stay up all night again!

hi wendy! love the neko-controls-DH report! anya's got the coldest nose i've ever felt on a cat and she wants to warm it up on the people too.

you asked about a featherweight table - that's not in my plans. one of my friends who doesn't even sew has been bitten by the sewing-machine-collecting bug badly, and she did buy a FW table. and 2 FWs (along with her grandmother's that she already had) a Singer 400, 500 and she already had a Pfaff that she doesn't use. :lol: see i hold her up as an example that is silly - it makes perfect sense that I need 6 sewing machines because at least i sew. not that i've sewn on all of the new ones yet. anyway, i just have the featherweight on a table and that's find for me.

It sounds like Neko has you both wrapped around her paw. That's so sweet on the loving on DH's lap. I hope she comes down for you soon.

Back to yellows and below AMPS #. Neko so often likes to have that little run up after AMPS. I swear 90% of her yellow starts go up first at +3.

@Lu-Ann - I just emailed Dr. Timian and Dr. Griffin yesterday with Neko's bloodwork and T4 results. I haven't heard back, but it's rather soon to tell. If I don't hear in a week, I'm tempted to call. And yes, Neko does have us wrapped around her little claws! :lol:

@Pip - It is lovely out, but a bit nippy. Neko had me fooled by going lower during the day yesterday, but I think she's switched back to night again. Maybe we'll be keeping each other company in the wee hours.

@Julie - Why is it that cat's with cold noses know the most sensitive spots to put them to warm up? :lol: Good luck on the sewing machine acquisition restraint. I have two, but one is on semi permanent loan to my cousin.
