Sending healing vines and prayers for all kitties with medical issues.
Missy Maggie has not yet changed her inner clock to the new time change. I had a wake-up call at 12:30 am!! When I pretended to be sleeping, I hear a thud onto the bed with a purring motor asking for some scritches. So I thought, oh good, now we can both go back to sleep. Well, nooooo.... she wants me up using her lungs to full capacity demanding I get up! I am thankful she is so full of energy even though it leaves me sleepless! I shoot at 3 am, as then I can go btd. All five P's are in place, Zooming must have taken place while I was zombie sleeping. The Bean is doing better today. I had a wound on the shin part of my leg from clumsily bumping my leg. After a week it got quite nasty looking and red, so with a visit to a nearby Clinic, the NP diagnosed an infection and prescribed ten days of antibiotics and some after care wound treatment. That will teach me to not procrastinate. Thanks Melissa for giving me a push to get it checked out. Sorry for talking so much about the Bean, as it's Maggie's condo.
It's still very cold here in the mornings (46 degrees), but no complaints as by late morning it does warm up. Have a nice Wednesday.

Good morning!! Not a bad start for Miss Maggie this morning! Is 3 AM really morning yet? I think that still qualifies as night.   You are such a sweet bean to play when the princess says play. Turnup hasn't adjusted to the time change yet either. She has begun standing on our heads at 3 AM and crying pitifully. Little buggar.

I am so glad you went and got it checked out. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: You can talk about yourself on Maggie's condo. She doesn't mind. Be sure to take care of it. It is easy to only think about our kids and neglect ourselves.

Have a wonderful day Ann!

funny how a little bump can turn into something not so nice. Hope the abs work quickly for you. Poor Maggie, didn't get the memo on the time change, or should I say poor Bean
Hope her inner clock resets and you get some extra sleep.

Have a great day

+3 159

Hi Melissa, I think you're right as 3 am is when most are having their REM sleep  amd I'm already wide awake! Thanks so much as I'm glad I got it checked out, too. Too funny with Turnup, too, with demands on getting up. I hope you don't do as I do and get up!

Thanks Iorwen, I hope so, too. I think Maggie needs another strong memo on the time change. :YMSIGH:

Re: 11/9 Maggie AMPS 159; +3 154 ATrak

I'm glad you got your leg seen to. Funny the things that wouldn't have bothered us a few years ago so why do they need extra attention now?  I'm trying the same thing as you w/ the shooting early so as to be able to go btb, not quite as early as you though! Our REM cycles must be later.

Re: 11/9 Maggie AMPS 159; +3 154 ATrak

Maggie looks great, as usual. I hope your leg heals quickly. Take care of yourself!

Re: 11/9 Maggie AMPS 159; +3 154; +4 178 ATrak

+4 178

Wrong way today for Maggie! I think I did a fur shot, or my juice is too old (4 months on vial)! also had stubborn bubbles today.

Hi Ann, I know, it is funny how things bother us more and take longer to heal as we get older.

Thanks Linda, I don't know where Maggie is headed today, but she's a purry happy kitty. I am going to give her a break on eat pricks with these numbers.

Wow on that 3am shot time! It sounds like Maggie is feeling really good - hopefully she'll get in the swing of the time change soon!!!

Amazing time for a shot! Is that AMPS or PMPS??

Hi Ann & Maggie, If it was a fur shot, Mags will get back on track easily. If it's old insulin, you could always start a new vial and see.

Enjoy the day and take care of your leg, Ann. You need a good leg to be able to jump out of bed at that hour!!

Ella & Rusty

Hi Amy, I sure hops so for Maggie getting into the swing of things with the new time change!

Hi Ella, on taking care of the leg for jumping out of bed. It's crazy the way Maggie has me jumping thru the hoops and rearranging my life! What we won't do for them!

PMPS 159

Thanks Devon for checking on us. I wonder sometimes if I do get the dose right at that hour in the morning, as it's still dark. I use a flashlight to make sure I have a drop. Scritches to Devon.

Hi Celi, just a clumsy thing on my part. I bumped my leg against the frame of the bed. I'm always bumping into things. My apartment is so small and not much storage. Who would ever think a small abrasion would get infected. Maggie is being a good girl, sleeping all day which means she'll be up early. I'll get the mouse pole toy out and rattle her cage. on btd, you catch everything. We must have had it in the back of our minds to visit Davenport. Mags loved it so much.

Very nice drop from the PMPS! Looks like she got her groove back tonight.

Ann, so glad you got your leg checked out. I bump into everything myself and always seem to have bruises on my body. I always thought I was very coordinated and agile, but I guess not!

Look at Maggie come down there!! See, never doubt them, they can always surprise you!
She is a good good girl!--3am? I am unconscious at that time I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I am thankful that Moonie rarely goes down at night(Bless you my dear)!
So sorry about you leg, but great call from Melissa to send you to go to doctor!!
What would we do without each other??
Hugs & Love from us!! :YMHUG:

Thanks Georgia. I'm so glad to see her come down to Maggie numbers. Getting the two drops dose is a challenge.

Hi Roni, I know with the 3 am! So true with what would we do without each other here and all the support.

That is good that your got your leg checked out, Ann, and caught the infection at an early stage. My aunt got a nasty wound from the car door shutting on her leg and it got infected. She didnt realize how serious it was. Once she saw a doc, it took about 6 months to heal with IV antibiotics and wound care PT. That was no fun at all. Maggie has some nice action going on this cycle. Looking good!
Liz
