I haz a BIG Pink kibble toad this morning...I didn't know DH had put down hard food so didn't even pay attention to KT on the island....eating away....I walked in just in time to see him licking his lips after eating all he wanted. He's paying for it now. Other than that, he's in wonderful form!
Snow doesn't seem any worse but he's not any better either.
Nuisance has decided that soft food isn't so bad - he still prefers his dry but I'm amazed he's actually figured out how to eat soft!
Sir Leo is now having to go on a diet! Yep, that SKINNY kitty from July 28th is starting to get FAT! Yep, the one that 'won't eat so he's really thin' per the former bean. The one that she couldn't doctor a hurt because he was 'mean'....there isn't a mean bone in this cats body...just defensive bones. I can do ANYTHING with him, scratch him anywhere, roll him around, clip his nails....and he just purrs...
Pepper's starting to get a bit fat too as she eats Leo's dry food - the one I'm taking away! She and Leo play together so wonderfully. DH is afraid they're fighting but they aren't, it's all play. If one does get hurt, they both stop and love on each other. Schniggles just lays on the couch and watches them until they settle down and climb on the couch with her - then she sits on them...silly pug!
Chloe (drooler) is going thru a flare of her IBD so I'm having to fix her food separately. We almost lost her to a twisted stomach 2 years ago, saved her only by the grace of God, the IBD is the only 'damage'. She kept all food down yesterday, poop was good so it's on a downhill run now. Sister Star is her healthy, beautiful sparkly black lab self - such a happy dog all the time.
Scruffy Kitty is doing OK with his heart problems - I got more pill pockets so no struggling to get him to eat a piece of cheese or egg with meds in it. The edema is staying down in his legs, only his belly shows a bit of fluid puffiness.
Lilly kitty is enjoying the warm days and the warm greenhouse - she never wants to go outside but loves to lay in the sun that comes thru the clear roof.
Spike kitty is full of himself! He's chasing moles this morning, all smiles and sparkles.
Boots kitty got to visit the back porch for a while yesterday. She wasn't too sure about it but she needs to learn to adjust to new things if I'm EVER going to get her integrated with anyone else. She really needs to be an 'only' cat.
Is that all of them? I'm not sure.....
