Hmmmmphf. Wasn't expecting that!

It wasn't a bad strip either. I tested twice.

I'm honestly not sure how we went from 99 at +7, after a whole day of beautiful numbers, to 212 at AMPS in the span of just a few hours. But there it is. Hope it doesn't stick around long.
 
Today's numbers were pretty sucky. We spent the last day an a half in really good numbers, so I was totally surprised by this morning's yellow reading, especially after he was 99 just five hours before. Before morning routine, Jenks got all huffy when he saw an outside cat walk by, so I thought perhaps the fight or flight response ramped up his BG and that he would drop back down to where he should be once the adrenaline wore off. The 167 was a step in the right direction, and I anticipated him continuing down the entire cycle. But noooooooooooooope, instead he turned the corner sometime during the day and still managed to tack on another 100 points for no apparent reason.

Hopefully we can get him back into gear tonight. C'mon Mr. Jenks.
