Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Thank you Elsa! Tess is not feeling well again this morning. She threw up before the shot and looked like a small fur ball in it. So we let her alone for a couple of hours, then see if she will eat. Probable baby food again. :roll: At least get something into her. She is laying in her condo trying to rest.

Another bright sunshine filled day with high around 80. I would rather have rain, which we really need. Ann is coming back tomorrow. Because of the time difference, she arrives in LA before she leaves Japan. :lol:

WCR Not a happy kitty this morning, no poo and not much purring, and no appetite yet Clean Plate Club. Vines to all the kittehs in need of them and hugs to all their beans.

Those flights from Japan are weird when you land before you take off. I bet Ann doesn't feel that way. I don't know how people can endure those long flights. Safe travels to her.

Hi Ann ... So sorry Tess is not feeling well. Hope as the day goes on she will feel lots better.

We found out yesterday that Monet most likely has early stage. Will find out Monday when we go to see the internist again and have ultrasound. If so we will have both Monet and Picasso with CKD. Monet will be a challenge since he is alo diabetic. I know you have been dealing with this with Tess.. So I may really need any advice you can give me.

Give sweet Tess a hug for me....

Hi John

Do you think this could be acid from CKD tummy? I haven't looked to see when Tess's labs were last done but if her CKD is progressing, she might not want to eat. I'm not usually a fan of just giving Pepcid and I know Ann uses slippery elm bark syrup. If you haven't tried the SEB, you might want to.

I hope Ann has safe travels. Seems like she just left but probsby not to you! You are a great daddy bean.

Just tested Tess and she is coming down. I fed her a teaspoon of baby food chicken about an hour ago, and she ate most of it. And I just fed her another .25 oz of the baby food and she purred when I set it down and ate it all. I'll try some regular food later.

Marje, we had labs done a few month's ago and CKD was about the same. I've been using SLB but have missed a time or two. She ate fine last night, but numbers were really high, so was drinking a lot of water this morning and threw up a small hair ball. I also started a new insulin pen about 5 days ago, so may have to adjust the dose.

Wendy, we give her a butter treat with a ground up pill in it, so will increase the butter to see if that helps.

Rise, we have been treating Tess's CKD with just a low phosphorus diet. Hard to find foods with both low carbs and low phosphorus. There are maybe a dozen we have found. Ann can fill you in when she gets back.

Poor baby, mama bean will be home soon. Maybe go to see Dr. S?

Marje, it seems like she will be fine then go through something like this for a few days and then be good again. Any change seem to upset her. I hope it's just a fur ball.

Getting ready for a last half day at the nursery, mainly reapacking my cases w/the bonsai pots I bought. To many, but the yen exchange has been great and prices are really good here too.

Be home soon and hopefully back on the board more.

At +5 I gave her .35 oz baby food chicken which she ate. I also tried Dave's Chicken which she ate last night, but nothing doing for that. I called the vet, but they were about to close, and said try some pepcid, which I did. As long as she is eating something, she should be OK. I'll see how it goes tonight.

Just tested her and got 297. Fed her .25 oz baby food that I pit on top of a little Wellness Turkey, and she ate all the baby food and a little of the Wellness. I think she will be fine as the pepcid works.

We are sending out lots of beautiful vines for Tess tonight. I hope her appetite will improve. If it was a hairball, getting rid of it should help a lot.

Ann, have a good trip home with all those bonsai pots (I assume that bonsai are not in the pots?--you might have problems with customs if they are!)

Glad to see Tess is coming down. I hope she feels better soon too. it's tough when they are off for whatever reason. baby food saved me many a time.

Safe travels to you Ann, I hope you have a good trip home. Too funny on arriving home in LA before you left Japan. :-D :lol:
