I have not been able to get a ketone test since 10/23. Izzy mostly pees in her sleep or lying down on her bed...everything around here is layered in puppy pads.

Is there any thing I can look for?

Ketones and DKA can develop quickly. Perhaps you want to get a blood ketone meter? The strips are expensive but it would alleviate you having to worry about getting urine.

can I get one at Walmart? any particular brand?

Does it count if I can get a ketone stick wet by squeeing pee out of the blanket that she peed on? If so, it was negative

I doubt you can get it at Walmart but I'm not sure. I think the nova max plus is a good one.
