Yes. You can feed mc if the +1 doesn’t give you a food bump. Then get a test before you go and feed again, just a small amount each time.

Okay...so feed mc instead of lc now with shot?

I would feed a mix of lc and mc now just to give a bigger food bump but not too big. Then see if you need more mc at +1 and before you leave.
