Thanks! Still in his stubborn pattern eating pattern. Fortunately he never stops eating or deviates very far from his average, its just a big hassle to get him to finish meals/not waste so much finding the "right" flavor.Happy Friday, Albert. Xander is looking goodHope he’s been eating better for you.
Yes I currently add a bit of crushed up freeze dried chicken treats as a topper, just a small amount similar to seasoning on food. I think he's gotten used to it now and doesn't respond as well. It's so confusing when he goes through these days, as he shows definite interest in everything he shouldn't have such as the other cat's kibble. I would think he's grown tired of the flavors we give him, but then a few days later he ends up cleaning out the bowlNaps with cats are the best!!I never need much convincing when Trixe snuggles up with me on the couch for nap.
And you’re right, how does something so small take up so much room. lol
Have you tried any food toppers with him? I think Tiki Cat makes some low carb ones. You can even take some low carb freeze dried treats, crush them up and put that on his food. Might help entice him to finish up his meal.
