I haven't been posting in the last few days but I have tried to keep up with what everyone is doing here in LL.

I had to put Simon back on the Zymox ear drops (with the steroid) due to more problems with his ears. He went for almost 3 months without too much scratching but now it has started again. Of course, his mid to high blue numbers and low yellows are primarily due to the steroid. After a week on the drops, I'll put him on the anti-histimine again and see if that will keep things stable for awhile. Other than the one problem, Simon is doing great. Eating well, purring, playing and running around. He hates the ear drops, but tolerates them, especially since he gets a treat after.

Are Simon's ear problems seasonal? I hope it settles soon.

Linda, I think it probaby is a combination of seasonal allergies in addition to some food allergies. Trying to figure out what he is allergic to has been a long, crazy process.

Hi Georgia, so sorry to hear Simon's ears are flaring. Sending some healing vines and hope the drops help. I know it must be so frustrating to figure out which foods could be causing it. Hoping for some improvement soon.

Ok, just when I think I understand things, things change. I wasn't expecting a green number today since Simon is on the steroid drops. I'll take it! :mrgreen:

Yay for green Simon!! Sorry his ears are bothering him again. Those steroids are wonderful unless you have FD huh? Hope his poor ears get better quick. Have a great day Georgia!

Hi Georgia, nice to see Simon come down to a nice green. Thanks for telling me about the SK Friskies T & G also spiking Simon's bg! Strange it never did before, and I wonder if there's something new added. Usually on the can it says "New" or something. Mags also loves the NV, so no more Friskies. Hope your day went well.

Celi, I guess Simon didn't think your picture was as funny as I did since his PMPS has gone back up. Oh well, one minute green, the next minute blue. Just part of this crazy dance.

Hi Georgia!! Sending Simon healing vines for his sweet Simon ears. I hope he doesn't have to stay on the steroid drops long and the anti histamine will help him. You are such a great bean and stay on top of it all.

We've missed you, too, but don't worry about visiting condos....just hearing you all are doing fine is good enuff for us!! Hugs and lub!!

Hi Georgia - I hope Simon's ears are feeling better ASAP!!! It's nice he was able to dip his toes in the green lagoon today, despite the drops!
