11/7 Ember AMPS 362, +3 272, +6 474!!

I know no one's written in today, and I can't pipe on on the facts as I'm new too. You just seemed worried and upset, and I wanted to say you're not alone and hopefully someone knowledgeable will come along soon. I'm increasing too (though my boy was already up to 2.5), and was warned ahead of time higher numbers can happen. She gave me this to read. Maybe it will be helpful to you too until you get some advice.
And my guy is regularly in the 500-600's on his pet meter.
Wonky numbers at increase

She's just getting her sea legs on the insulin, and she's bouncing. They bounce a lot at the beginning--it's terribly, horribly annoying for the bean. What usually happens is, overtime, the bounces become shorter (they CAN last up to six cycles) and less frequent as Ember begins getting used to lower numbers. She also might be having a bit of new dose wonkiness (NDW), though I think it's a teensy bit early for that (it usually starts within 24-48 hours). Here's an explanation of NDW, if you aren't familiar with it yet.
