AMPS 187 - gave him half a unit which is double what he has been getting . Although it did not work well yesterday night only bringing him down to 140, he is so all over the place lately and has been only getting .25u (fat or skinny side) so doubling it is all I am willing to do. Hubby will be able to test at nadir, but he will be out most of the day so it is the safe option rather than moving up higher.

Darn. Nothing else going on - no teeth issues or litter box problems? If not, his pancreas is just taking a break and you have to supplement with a little more insulin. Don't forget, Joyce, he is still below the renal threshold so in a good place for it to heal.
