likely - unless you give him something with almost no carbs. fish cat foods or boiled chicken - i think both of those have very little to zero carbs. i'd think some dry or canned people tuna would probably be ok.

mostly you want to give him food in the first 1/2 of the insulin cycle so that the carbs arrive when the insulin is working stronger.

of course, other than messing with the BG numbers when you're trying to do a curve, it's not really going to hurt him if you give him a little bit.
