Vines to all the beans and kitties who aren’t feeling well.
:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning everyone!

Leo’s up in the lemon tree probably looking for his mousie! I hope he finds it and drops it into the lagoon so he can go retrieve it and maybe stay there!

Something is making scratching noises in the wall between my office and the laundry room and has Leo’s rapt attention! Maybe a real mousie?

Sun is out but micro snowflakes falling this morning, blowing in from the St-Lawrence river! :nailbiting:

Wishing you all a happy healthy safe day! :bighug:

Hope all the kitties head to the beach and lagoon but stay close to shore! :bighug::D:cool::bighug:

I hope you see more green soon. I hope you don't have a real mouse. Will Leo catch it if it gets in the house?
Thanks Carla! He caught one last year after we first moved in. I guess the mice had the run of the place for a couple of weeks before they realized a cat was moving in! Last winter I heard noises in the attic (but no mouse poo anywhere apparent) and then nothing all summer. I'm positive something has moved in since the cold weather hit, I can hear it very clearly. This is an old country house, tons of little spaces for rodents to get in. Hopefully they're just sheltering for the winter and will leave again in the spring. I put bird seed outside all winter so they have food and there's no reason for them to enter the actual house! Positive thinking!!!

I hope Leo comes down from the lemon tree and helps you locate the scratching noise. And I hope whatever it is leaves very quickly after Leo scares it away.
Enjoy the pretty snowflakes :)

I hope they stay out of the house.
Me too!!! But the more I listen the more it sounds like something bigger than a mouse. Maybe a chipmunk, we have lots of those in the area outside close to the laundry and office wall, under the deck.

Leo, it's ok to wear those fancy green pants again! Tina caught a mouse in her enclosure, and brought it in the house last year - I got it out of her mouth.
With 6 cats, mice should know better than to come in here, and thankfully we only had one year of mice - when our neighbors kept chickens.

Enjoy your beautiful but cold weather Sonia, and watch Leo closely to see if he signals what is making those scratching noises!! Maybe you'll see mice in his eyes:cat:

Leo isn’t too far away from the beach! I think he will surprise you with a trip to the lagoon today :)

I hope you don’t have anything living in your walls, chipmunks and squirrels have a very bad habit of messing with wiring and making nests where they shouldn’t. I think Leo should be able to clear this problem up ;)

Scratching in the walls looks like a little mousie!! We had one last year and caught it with a "no kill mouse trap". With my 3 kitties around, we had to catch it before them!
Leo just needs a little step and he'll be at the beach!
Have a great day Sonia! :bighug:

I love that, it's so beautiful! :)

Thanks for reminding me! We have one of those too, Len caught a mouse in his car parked in the driveway last year! There are big holes next to the pipes in the cupboard under the sink in the laundry room so I'll try it in there!

He did! Seems he cleared that bounce lickety split! How's Mowg's other than good numbers? And how's Nyx? Any improvements in her walking?
Have a great day Amanda!

Go Leo Go!

I’m planning to write a condo for Mowg today, it’s just been difficult when I can’t use the site at work!

Nyx finished her Metacam and her limp seems better but every once and a while I notice a mild limp. I don’t want to make a vet appointment yet because they would need to knock her out and I just want to see if it will heal since I do notice an improvement.

Mowgli is doing pretty well numbers wise! He has some high ends to his curve and has done a little bouncing but otherwise fine. I made a vet appointment for him on the 20th for a diabetes follow up and to look into his excessive grooming. He’s also had a few liquid only pukes so I’m a little nervous he might have an intestinal blockage or something wrong with his stomach. Hopefully we can get some good information from his appointment!

wow turns out I had a lot to say :P definitely have to get a condo on the go :P

Leo made it to the lagoon! Good job Leo!
In the house we used to live in (next to a pecan orchard) we used to get squirrels in the attic. Only heard them at night, it sounded like a herd of elephants were running around.

Thanks Jill, Leo says Meow! Lol, I can just imagine! I'm thinking it's a chipmunk or red squirrel, it seems like too much noise to be mice! Unless it's giant mice! :joyful:
