HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!

Thank you to Julie, Marje, Anne, Michelle and Ann for stopping in 11/4, fresh eyes are always welcome!!

Living in the land of blues here. All seems well with Hershey. So happy appy is back to normal and I haven't seen him at the water bowl since 10/28. I'm still wondering if his decreased appy (which meant he wasn't getting the water that I add to his food, either) plus the Miralax was dehydrating him, causing him to drink more water? I don't know, but I'll keep an eye on him anyway.

OT: Today is my baby girl's birthday. Jessica is TWENTY?! Where DID the time go?? Everyone is off in different directions, so her cake is delayed until tomorrow and we're going out to eat Friday to celebrate. Bless her heart, she has 12 hours of school/work today. First time she's ever worked on her birthday. When I worked, I always took their birthdays off. And, when we homeschooled, we took the day (or sometimes the week) off for their birthdays. They didn't even have chores unless they were life related (like feeding the kitties). I tried to tell them it wouldn't be that way when they were adults, but Ginnie was still shocked when she had to work on her 21st birthday.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 11/6 Hershey AMPS(174)+2(150) plus Jessica's bday!

I'm happy Hershey's appetite is back cat_pet_icon

Happy Birthday to Jessica !! I hope she likes her celebration of her special day even if delayed.

- Thanks, Dyana. It does cause worry when the kitties won't eat. Jessica did get to have her French Silk ice cream tonight and a cupcake a co-worker gave her. So, it just extends her celebration. :-D

I was so hopeful when I saw the greens, but the PMPS? UGH!!!!!

hi Libby and Hershey,

just popping in to check on you. I'm a day late and a dollar short, but to me this is looking like a failed dose reduction, what do you think? The numbers are ok, but they were better on 0.3u except for that pesky 34 (which might have still been carrying some depot influence from the 0.4u). If you want, you could try increasing and then monitoring and feeding the curve to prevent him from bottoming out.

well, i'm two dollars short. just seeing this now.
i'm thinking along the same lines as libby. looks more like a failed reduction to me. if i were in your shoes, i would try increasing the dose and feeding to steer the curve.

i'm not on the board much any more. hope all is well in your neck of the woods...

PS -- happy belated birthday to jessica!

Thanks, Libby and Jill. I keep hoping he'll take to the .25u, but I think y'all may be right about the failed reduction. Is there really that much difference between .3u and .25u? Looks like Hershey thinks so. :YMSIGH:

He went steadily up from 11/6 AM+6 to 11/7 PMPS, so I had great hope he had big things planned. But, he didn't. Those blues cycles aren't so bad, but now with the yellow and pinks mixed in...I try not to change his dose on Saturdays since we never know how long we'll be gone Sundays, but I'm not sure I want to keep him hanging out in these numbers, either.

I really appreciate y'all stopping by. It's always great to hear from you! Jessica thanks you for the belated birthday greeting. :-D

I was wondering the same thing, but there sure does seem to be a difference to Hershey. It's a good thing he is your cat, not mine. I am not patient enough to try to measure that closely.

I was thinking today that I'm not sure it's always exact, but I do the best my maturing eyes can.

Was going to increase back to .3u for PMPS, but got delayed at Jessica's birthday dinner, so shot at +12.58 (So much for being back on schedule by Sunday. ) Didn't want to take the time to change the calipers, so decided we'd increase at AMPS. He was (89). Not sure what to make of that...
