I would give Sue some LC or maybe even some MC to slow the drop a bit. You got a ways to go yet tonight and it would be good to get Sue surfing.

He is eating some Merrick BG and Tuna for Cats. I keep a few of his "not usual" varieties of food around for times like this. Fortunately for me, this cat will eat at any time!!!

I'd get another test in at +3.75. It's looking like Sue might want a decrease so you should monitor closely to both catch it and to make sure he doesn't drop too low.

Hey Jenny, do you happen to know carb % of the BG foods? I have some, but only feed to the civies, cause I don't know carbs, but I assume they are LC. Was just curious, sorry to get in the middle of your excitement.

I haven't done the calculations because they make my head hurt!
I called Merrick today and got the water, fiber and other values to submit to Binky's page, but left them at work!

I'm pretty sure they're low carb.

I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but I feel so lucky that my baby Sue is doing so well. It makes me so sad when I see other kitties on here struggling. Sue has had a really early nadir as of late. Peaking very early. He is truly back to his old self now. He is annoying all of the older cats because he just wants to play with them all the time!

I ran the numbers on the BG Tuna. Based on the "as fed" numbers you gave, it's 1.8% carb. However, you gave no percent for fiber. I can't believe there's no fiber in these foods.

I left the fiber, moisture, ash and calcium values at work. I can post them tomorrow or Monday.
