Re: 11/5 Paisley AMPS/274, +2/281, +6/142 Timed feeders???

Nice solid blue. Fed raw at +2 and +6.

I have to head out to a meeting around 8:50. I'll leave out a bit more food then and a bit of frozen raw. Will make sure I'm back for a +11. I'm a bit anxious about leaving her that long. Maybe I test again just before I head out the door (almost +7).

Still looking for info on good timed feeders, if anyone has any recommendations.

Re: 11/5 Paisley AMPS/274, +2/281, +6/142

This is the feeder I use. I had really bad luck with the one Sandy uses. The motor died and after 2 new feeders, I went back to the 2-compartment one.

I'm almost as glad as you are to see Paisley clearing that bounce.

Re: 11/5 Paisley AMPS/274, +2/281, +6/142

I have both. The 5 compartment one is a bit loud. Initially scared Curry. But she finally got use to it. And now runs to it when she hears it. The other one I use at night for her 2:00am snack. It's quiet and Im not woken by the noise. Curry hears it since she sleeps with me at night and is in close proximity to the feeder.

Both are good.

Zipped home from meeting to check BS. She ate all the food I had put in there thawed and frozen. She had to have eaten some frozen because it was in a chunk. She loves to eat. Back to meeting.

Re: 11/5 Paisley PMPS/362

Big jump back to 362 (1:50) from 133 (12:35) Not sure what happened there. She had eaten all her food by +11 and I didn't leave her with any. I guess I did leave her a fair amount of food when I left at noon but it was basically 0% carb. Shot was about 10 minutes late.

She snacked on some scraps for chickens (chicken chow mien, I think DH said it was) and got a couple bites of my squash. Should have kept her locked in her room until all food was put away both inside and out. She's sneaky and fast. *sigh*

Thanks for the info on feeders. Will look at them and figure out which would be the best. Obviously freezing food doesn't slow her down so I think it's going to have to be a timed feeder.

Tomorrow is always better.

I also use the Petsafe 5 meal feeder and have had no problems with it. It is loud, but it works out great because she knows when it goes off, no matter where she is in the house (we live in a small house, it's not THAT loud).
