Happy Friday Everyone. Mannie had a fairly decent day yesterday. I had hoped for more blue, but got a nice low level yellow AM cycle. Mannie managed a spot pf green last night - YAY! Looks like he probably surfed the low blues during the night. Not bad at all with the 233 this morning. OK Mannie now - I know you are busy today with chef duties for Muffin's OTJ party, but still -- how about some blues, and greens. maybe? for you bean?

Nanners - what did we ever do before these kitties had nanners. :roll: It was a battle of the wits last night. The civvies thought that they'd play with his stash while he was elsewhere. :shock: oh sure.... it was like his nanner security breech alarm went off - down the hall he'd come, right up to their faces within inches, and then the stare-down began. it is amazing how low kitties can slink when they are on the retreat. security restored, about a dozen times last night. :lol: :lol: All is normal this morning: breffis devoured, interior secured, nanners slobbered on, napping in progress.

KITCHEN KREW!!!: Today is Muffin's OTJ party! we have much to do - so pack your bags, grab your ladles and kitchen shears, and lets get hopin'. I have special party aprons for everyone.. uhhhhh i think they're kinda cool. so - see ya soon! ~~ Mannie

p.s. Micelle, I went on a really tough 12-mile climb/hike in the High Peaks on Wednesday. Almost did myself in (trails icy and I pulled a few muscles even though I was wearing spikes; we had to climb down 5 icy ladders on the way back)!! We climbed to Fish Hawk Cliffs in the Ausable Lakes wilderness and on the way back down took in "Rainbow Falls", which was covered in snow. Very beautiful. The enclosed picture of the falls was taken by a friend.

Hi Ella! :lol: :lol: on the nanners... i hope he would share if I got more. :? Very nice on the hike! I absolutely love the long ones! My hat goes off to you for tackling a difficult hike like that. Ice I respect more than anything,,even snow - it is so unpredictable, so omg. 5 icy ladders??? - wow. impressed, and wonder how well i would have done with that. The falls is gorgeous - thanks for the pic! I had hoped to get out for a hike for two weeks now, but every day that I have had where I might have been able to go Mannie has chosen to dive... aiyee! frustrating, but so it goes. The local stuff here is nice, so we have made do with that. maybe next week i can go. The local mtns are low enough elevation that hiking there is possible almost all year. YAY!

Miss Ella! Hi, and thanks you! You like my menu? I can be Chef Mannie now? Really??? I am so humbly honored... It is such fun - and the krew is so cool. NCIC Chef Mannie (wow, so coolz, gratz my friend, you sure deserve it) I's so cited for da paw-ty! Da menu sounds da bomb! Shakes wit straws! Chicken tacos! Dos are my faborite tings! Lubs da aprons too! I can't wait to see all my friends and dance and eats all day and night! I can stay ups all night, cuz my bean say I no hab to hab pokey in da morning! So let's paw-ty!

Mannie, it's so sweet of you to go green for the OTJ party! Not too low, tho, ok? Michelle, I'll be back later today to visit everyone, but while I'm here in your condo, I'd just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support, help, fun, and laughter you and your condos have given us over these past 4 months. You and muffin added such an fun element to what is such serious business: our kitties and FD. I've so enjoyed Muffin and her turkey stories, and well the last with the shake was just too fun. Mannie knew he had to incorporate an FD friendly shake into the menu, with straws.... I hope you will come back and visit us often!

Muffin - YAY - you made it!!! I am soooooo happy that you like your menu! :-D :-D :-D I will miss you, but I hear that you can come to the paties and visit and stuff - so that is way cool. Hi Anne - I know - he just did not want to leave the 50's :shock: finally a little rise - it is a little past his nadir, so I was really hoping it would start to show, now if he can just surf this. paws crossed, and anti-jinx!

TESS! YAY!!! I dunno on the dive... I wanted to match Muffin's numbers. My bean says enough already :shock: I don't get it - all this fuss over green and then when we deliver they are muttering even more. go figure, huh :roll: !! I know you will Tess - you are the best and so close to green - even if not, it will be as is. the aprons are ok then? i thought maybe that would be kinda special, ya know... See you soon! Boy Michele our boys sure do bounce. It's great how you can Manny to surf so long. I hope in time Powder won't boounce so soon. Powder is sure looking forward to the party. I'm afraid he can only have taco filling no shakes for him :lol:

Hey Marjorie - I remember the first time I shot in the low hundreds, remember my first 80, but I especially remember the 55... omg on that one. yet we learn from these, and now I wouldn't hesitate, once all was evaluated. The 55 was exciting... true! it was! window thing went well - basement area the windows there are 50 years old :shock: single pane, condensation collectors, hear evaporators, rickety pieces of junk. so i decided to pluck the money tree in the backyard and get them replaced. signed to dotted line today - they should be installed in 2 weeks. YAY! I hope it will improve the COLD that permeates that basement area, which also happens to be the bedroom. dang cold! :thumbup

Michelle...she ate the WHOLE piece....it wasn't huge but still.....I'm thinking her BG will shoot up...already started 1/2 hour after she ate it!! :lol: :lol: And all this time I've been so focused on keeping her away from the civvies food....and it was mine she wanted :lol: :lol:

Mannie...it's an honor to be yours Sous Chef so I don't mind choppin...especially for your good fudS!!! Wants some cornbread? I gots some left in my cheeks :lol:
 
One more day to suffer through Michelle. Then you can settle into your schedule again. That is a really nice short bounce. Mannie is taking his new responsibilities very seriously.
