Happy Caturday LL,

Leo is doing well this morning, we both just got up from BTB, what woke me up was Leo snoring in my face :lol: I ended up going out with my brothers and sisters-in-law last night for some beverages so Leo and I ended up spending the night with DGP's. Grandpa took care of everything last night while i was out and this morning too so i didn't have to get up early! I got to sleep in!

Looks like the numbers from the last few days are the result of a bad pen, I think from now on we'll just change out our pens every month just to be on the safe side. Every week our insulin is in and out of the fridge, due to Leo and I travelling back and forth, maybe its just too much for the insulin.

Very nice of the DGP to take Leo duty so you can catch up on socializing and sleep! Leo is looking good!

Could be on the pen. I just change mine out every month - just to be sure. It's about what manie uses anyways, so that works for us.

My boy just caught and ate a mouse! I let him out for i swear 5 minutes, then i hear my dad yelling "come and look what Leo has!!!" Of course Leo tried to bring it inside but we shut the door, it was a big fat mouse too. Leo ate him up then came inside to eat FF.......what a cat :lol: :lol: He's back outside on the hunt at the moment.

Glad to see Leo back in the greens! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: The new pen has worked wonders for Tess too. Have you considered one of those cooling cases for the insulin when you travel?

Ann, that little insulin case is a great idea! I wonder if they ship to Canada.

Leo and I are back home now, good thing because it's supposed to snow a few inches tonight. Winter has arrived :roll:

Love the picture Celi! I was discussing with my mom about making cat food for Leo and their 2 cats today. She wondered if we could make raw food with mice instead of chicken :lol: :lol: I'm thinking it would take a lot of mousies to feed Leo for a week!!

That was so nice of DGP to watch Leo so you could go out and relax with some adult beverages! I think DGP kinda likes Leo.

In any event, you can e mail her (I believe her name is Patti) and she will answer all your questions and may be able to tell you how you can order one in Canada. I have one and it is great. It keeps insulin cool (but not cold) and requires only cold water to activate.

and tonight when leo is on the pillow next to you, snoring in your face, it will be complete with mousie breath. so morning will bring MMB or Morning Mousie Breath.

and good plan on the new pen - our vial pooped out in a month after we dragged it back and forth to colorado and we had it refrigerated or in a cooler. it still didn't like the traveling.
