good morning, everyone...

apparently binks stayed up later than i last night and read his condo carefully, and paid close attention to what was said...so i'd like to thank everyone for getting him back into the blues!

he's a busy boy his morning...all 5 p's present...team B well rested and ready for a good friday...

hope everyone had a peaceful night.

want to share something that had me laughing last night: was on the phone with my sis, and voting came up, so i asked her what she had voted for. she didn't miss a beat before she answered : "increased mobility and a better cafeteria cook!" :lol: gotta love someone in her circumstances keeping the sunny outlook!

Celi, I think you sis has a wonderful attitude. A sense of humor is so important to get you through life's ups and downs.
What a nice amps for Binks this morning. Hope he surfs blue and safe greens, today. :smile:

sis is a fun one...laughter has been the word of the day for me and my sibs since i was just a sprout.

so...today will be a learning day for this bean...couple of comments laurie made the other night made me realize that i wasnt fully understanding the "make em work for reduction" philosophy well...and now after looking closely at tinkles, tess, and mannies info, and some very helpful clarification from michelle...binks and i are going to work on our feeding routine.

i wasnt feeding anything but LC till he got below 50...but today, when he hit 69...fed him MC..catch him before he earns the reducies.
he's not at all unhappy that the good foods made an early appearance. :lol:

we'll see what unfolds...his numbers may be a bit wobbly at first til i get a better handle on the game.

Hey Celi, I just wanted to thank you for all your support and humor and great pictures you've provided us (and everyone else) since you've been here. I've always looked foward to your condos and your comments in other condos. Not that this place wasn't fun before, but you sure have made it a lighter and brighter place. Much love to all of yours and Bink's personalities.

and there he goes! I would have brought out the MC too. Mannie's hit 51 - he got the really good stuff with the gravy, lots of carbs... He's in "hog heaven". anyways - see what Binks does at the next test, you can always adjust the % carb he gets. well - duh - that you probably know... i had to laugh when I just tested Mannie: there on the counters: 6 cans, all different %. omg! good luck - I hope BInks can surf that lovely green color.

fed him a little more MC...maybe this will be easier than i suspected.

fed this one some MC with HC gravy mixed in...

and ann weighed in with some further tips on feeding...you guys are the best...i hope you know how deeply we appreciate all the help, especially knowing how busy y'all are...

as of 15 minutes ago, my cup runneth over (admittedly, so did my tear ducts a little).

as pat terms it..."magical poops" appeared for the 2nd time today...then he donned spot's zippy pants and led me on a merry chase thru the house...and out of habit...i slapped my shoulder in our long unused signal for "JUMP!"...and the lil poop leapt right up into my arms.
haven't seen that in over a year now. :-D

i may be spitballing here, but i'm thinking he's feeling pretty good due to this pretty run of numbers... :lol:

Oh too cool - on the jumping into your arms part. WOW - way to Binks. You sure have one up on the Mannie in that one.

What a great cycle! I hope he ends up better than Mannie did. :? oh well - the morning was good. Binks: be kind to your bean, and do not bounce through the ceiling like Mannie, OK?

hhmmm...he's snuggled up in his swanky lil bed...that game of Jump must've taken a bit of a toll...

i bet next time i slap my shoulder, i just get a red mark from my hand :lol:

so far still thrilled with his numbers tho...

ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile Look what I missed when I was out galavanting around today. Celi...what an awesome job you did of managing his curve and look at that most spectacular PMPS!!! Way to go Binks!!! I predict some lovely numbers for you tonight--if you can slow down from all that running around craziness!

I'll have to check with Ann on that feeding....if I feed Gracie MC when she's down..she skyrockets and won't surf. I think we're just going to have to shave our way down
because Miss Gigi does not hold the reductions either.

Great condo today!!! Sorry I missed out!

What a great time you're having in this condo! Green numbers. Leaping kitties. What could be better?

(BTW, above 10% is considered MC. Anything below 10% is ostensibly LC although it really depends on how carb sensitive your cat it.)

Great green surf today. That's so neat he jumped up that high. You did such a good job feeding and such a great pmps. If Binksie keeps that up he'll join Muffin at the falls rally soon (no jinx0. I hope he keeps these great numbers tonight. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

thanks guys...it's been a good day for us..(tho i have an idea it isn't over yet...) the running, jumping, playing thing does make it sooo worth it.

:lol: kathy...you must have caught one of the posts where i mentioned how tall i am...close to 5'10'..so it was a bit of an effort for him...but i also have monkey arms, so if he falls a little short, we're covered. :-D

I had to pop in and see what all the commotion was in here....what a gorgeous surf today! The jump is fantastic to hear....I know how wonderful it feels when you see some of the old behaviors coming back, Celi! How exciting! :-D
