Challenging yesterday

Zener is doing ok this morning. Appy was middling, but then the cypro kicked in and he ate pretty well. I'm really liking that cypro. :-D  Tillie isn't eating so she got some cypro too. Then she decided that the yogurt with cosequin was no longer poison and ate that. I need an emoticon for pulling out my hair. Then I won't have to pay for a haircut.  6 more weeks of classes for the beans and only 3 of them are full weeks.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jupiter is getting a chemo treatment today, vines to Mariko's Lucy and civie Ginger. Happy Monday, LL!

ETA: Oh, and Zener did get another drop this morning, to skinny 1.25u. We are almost to the end of this pen (60 days!) so if this doesn't give us some low blues, we'll start a new pen.

Morning Liz and Anne ~O) ~O) ~O)

Pink Zener? Come on down little one. They lower floors await you.

well. I had a hair pulling one, but the darn link won't work.....
Omg on the finicky approach to things. One day it is poison the next day it is the best thing they have ever seen. You gotta love it.

WooHOO on the 3/6 weeks. major cool!

Have a good one today. I hope all goes well.

Nice job on those blues today Zener. :-D Keep working that juice, and keep on sliding.
Sorry the kitties are still having appy issues. At least you won't have to go to the hairdresser anytime soon.

I hear ya on the "ripping my hair out" emoticon (Love it, Wendy!!!)!!! Zener brought it down nicely today. I hear ya on the cypro, too. Yesterday was the first time I ever used it, and it is amazing. I hope we don't have to use it too often, but as I've said before, thank you so much for sharing your experience about how much to dose....a little goes a long way!

I hope the kitties are doing well this afternoon...have a great evening, guys!

I'm glad the cypro helped Zener and Tillie's appys. Nice slide to blue today for Zener.

Re: 11/4 Zener PMPS 248

Oh those blues were so handsome on you Z-man! No need to go back to Sweden!

I think it's time for us to start using cypro too, Tess eats but just not enough and is losing weight. Where do you order yours? ANd what is the other med you give him along w/ it? I know you've told me before, but i need a refresher.

Re: 11/4 Zener PMPS 248

Hi guys,
This is a much better report than yesterday's! Those kitties seem to be having a hard time making up their minds whether or not they like their fuds. Good thing you have some choices available. Rusty has discovered FortiFlora and loves it. He is normally a grazer, but has scarfed down the FortiFlora "enhanced" food (I used it because I didn't want the antibiotic in his ear "cocktail" to cause intestinal problems; I hope he doesn't demand it now all the time!)

Have a good evening, Liz and Anne. Z Man, Tillie, don't cause your beans any extra anxiety, OK?

Re: 11/4 Zener PMPS 248

Whew, appys are happier all around at PMPS tonight. We are learning to appreciate life in the moment.

@Michelle - thanks for searching to the emoticon, Wendy found one! Zener is visiting Sweden again.

@Wendy & Neko - BWHAHAHAAHAH on the emoticon! Our hairdresser must wonder what happens to her creations between haircuts.

@Amy & TrixieCat - it is nice to have something that helps with the eating issues! Glad just a dab did it for Trixie.

@carla - we were sure happy to see better numbers today, now if appy would be steady happy. Beans can always wish....

@Ann & Tess - back to Sweden again, he must love the lutefisk. ;-) We got our cyproheptadine from our vet but don't give nearly as much as is routinely prescribed. The other med we use for nausea (we were advised to make sure you use an anti-nausea med with an appy stimulant, just in case) is ondansetron. We order it from thrivingpets.com and I imagine you can order the cypro from there too. They will need a prescription from your vet for both.

Kitties are on serious yard patrol at the moment, rodent tv is exciting.

Re: 11/4 Zener PMPS 248

WE've found anothe food enhancer that Tess now demands too. When we ordered the premix for Feline Instincts raw they included a sample packet of their Liver Powder as enticement to eat the new food! Tess really loves it! The food not so much!

Re: 11/4 Zener PMPS 248

@Ann & Tess - thanks for that link, we are always looking for food enticements and this looks like it won't cause constipation like a lot of fortiflora will do!
