Soooo, now to study or take tips on how to feed in the multi cat house... i am peeking around the forum...also... to read and re-read the time change thinga magiga,
And I dunno if I am going to do this right but I think this is my link for yesterday?

P.S he is more like himself....back to hissing at the cat he generally doesn't get along with when she is in whisker distance, instead of tolerating her.. lol

Keri, Look at the Whole Cat--That means when they are doing behaviors that they did before they got sick, it means they are getting Better!!
It's not just all about the numbers, it's the 5 P's, the behavior of your cat, and you will see a difference..
Of course, the numbers are so important, but you need to see the Big Picture..
Both my cats are now on FF low carb...they adjusted to the loss of the dry foods & the higher carb foods rather easily..You'd be surprised..
So unless there are health reasons for feeding the others differently, just consider making the change for all your cats.

Time change--I shot Moonie yesterday 7:21 am. 7:36 pm, today 7:51 am, so tonite I will shoot at 8:06pm--Till sunday I will shoot around 8am & pm--
Then I will be all set to shoot at 7 am & pm on Sunday when the clocks go back & no problem for Moonie!! OK??

I have no problem and agree that it will be better for the entire kitty family to be on the low carb wet, especially as they are both older than Mowgli even...I just have NO IDEA, how much to feed everyone... I am going to look at the timer feeders today...but it will still be a matter of how much..
I have been putting frozen pucks out which are gone without a trace when I get home, but WHOM is eatting it, lol
That is for the weekend to show maybe?

Also i am REALLY checking around the website, but does anyone have the link handy for the low carb, high protein wet foods?

I think the older cats will do better on the lower carb--There is no way to see which cat ate unless you isolate Mowgli--
His number today Is great!! You do do daylight savings time in Canada right-dumb me ohmygod_smile ?

My province does do the daylight savings time, so all good with the advice you kindly shared, no reason for the smack yet, lol

will have to see whats what where when and why why...in regards to the food...but ya am sure scully and lily would benefit greatly from the diet change as well

Hi Keri
Here is the link on how to change for DST. If your cat is sensitive to change it is better to only move the shot time ahead 15 minutes one time a day instead of am and pm.
Since Mowgli is a newbie it might be better to use the first example in the link.

Some newer foods are on neither, ask on health if anyone has new in for of here as well.

Your link worked just fine, some of us use geekier ways of shortening the link, but it isn't necessary

i click on that link and my puter (here at work, microsoft) won't let me open it :roll: says diagnostic problem or some jibber jabber...sigh...
guess i will just buy some more FF today and take a look and see if the link opens tonite on my Mac....nothing wrong with the FF, just wanted to take a look at some other varieties while I am out and about...

:-D I'm a Mac too! As a stop gap here are a few of the lower carb FF flavors to look for:
Fancy Feast submitted by Christine and Cricket 3 oz can
The following are Fancy Feast flavors contain NO wheat gluten and are below 10% carbs: (looked values from old list, outdated?)
Gourmet Chicken Feast 4 % carbs (dark pink...be careful, this looks just like another chicken variety with gluten!)
Turkey & Giblets Feast (olive green) 3% carbs
Tender Liver & Chicken Feast (orange) 4% carbs
Chopped Grill Feast (kelly green) 2% carbs
Flaked Fish & Shrimp Feast (true blue) 0% carbs
Savory Salmon Feast (orange) 3% carbs
Flaked Ocean Fish Feast (pink) 0% carbs

Hi Keri. Sorry I haven't been around the last couple of days to welcome my fellow Edmontonian to the Board. All I can say is that for being here such a short time you and Mowgli are doing so incredibly well. The folks here have been taking very good care of you and you are going to be old pros before you even know it. You should be very proud of yourselves.

For the life of me WHY is it getting harder to get blood from the pricks?? his ears are very bruised, i repeat, my fault... (obviously) but tonite, he was NOT going to have anymore of it...the hiss, the bite (funny how that is a nice feeling, meaning i think he feels a little better!! lol irony) But I am feeling HORRIBLE to poke him.. I DID get the poke, and the blood, but so so bruised his ears... i feel HORRIBLE!! i definetly don't even want to poke the right ear anymore... :sad:
Anyone do paw pad here?? is it harder?? i guess easier for him to bite me thats forsure! :sad:

I use the Pure Bites chicken....100% chicken...that is an excellent treat! :thumbup
I shave it onto their food...it is like a necessity now though cause they are so addicted to it...

Yup, I started out with paw pads b/c I was chickens--t about poking his ear, but you're right.... much easier to bite you! It really should get easier to do ear pokeys. You'll get better at it, feel more relaxed about it, and Mowgli will get over it too. Donny gave me the hairy eyeball every time I came near him the first few weeks. So suspicious. Now his biggest annoyance is when I disturb his royal slumber for pokeys. Keep trying.

oh i even got purrrrrs after this prick, he LIKES the treats!!! I am going to have to check for this neosporin with pain killer....maybe we don't have it here in canada...maybe its polysporin here??
