**SIGH** - seems that we are back to the pink amps. blech! However, on the good side: Yesterday Mannie had, after his pink start, a really great day, making green mid-cycle both AM and PM cycles. YES!! Now Mannie, let's see what we can do about not hitting the pinks in the morning....

I wonder if Spot is missing a pair of his zippy pants. Mannie hasn't moved like that since he was a youngster, except for the drooler/tree/paw incident. He even made a few run-by whaps at the civvies. He must be feeling good, or else he's excited about JD's birthday. :-D Breffis #1, and #2 gone: down the hatch, still a member of the clean plate club. It makes me laugh when he runs circles around his bowl waiting for blurry eyed bean to fill it with that mornings selection. Seems one of the civvies must have played with his nanners last night while he was sleeping. He had to collect them all - that was fun to watch - and make his morning nap pile. Napping now in progress on top of the nanner pile. What did we ever do before there were nanners? :roll:

Kitties!!! We have a cake to make today - it is JD's birthday - so meet at my place. I think we will make a cinnamon cake, topped with crunchy cinnamon topping. whatcha think? We can see if we can go to JD's, or maybe pick him up and party at some special place.... See you guys!! ~~ Mannie

Now Mannie lets come down from that pink floor. I'm sure you'll be back in the blues and greens but don't take too long to get there.

Wallah! Not to worry I have the utmost faith that Mannie will come down!!! He just loves those dives!! Tena - me too: zippy pants. it doesn't happen much with Mannie - he's a very laid back guy most of the time. it is nice when he decodes to be a crazy kitty.

Hi Ele - He heard you! phew!! We are now a better mellow yellow... maybe even blues later.

Hey barb - :lol: :lol: on those goofy nanners. he is so obsessive with them MINE (!!) says the cat. I couldn't believe it this morning when he rounded them all up. what a hoot. and HAHA: hear ya too on writing in another condo... been there - the mornings are the worse: foggy brain here!

I promise promise promise promise to keep Muffin out of the cake.... she may eat it before we get it there. Muffin?: no cake eating until the party, OK? ~ Mannie, NCIC

Mice job there Mannie, no diving just getting down to business. NCIC agrees with him, he knows he has to all the other kitties in order so he can't goof around diving and bungee jumping. :lol:

Hi Roni - oh yeah on the dawn phenomenon... I agree and would put Mannie in that category. I keep hoping that maybe there is a way to deal with it. i dunno.... funny - we do the +9 snack which really makes a difference in the AM cycle - not so much in the PM cycle. yep - the dawn phenomenon.

Hey Ann! You are probably right - he has NCIC duties today, and can't be slackin' and goofin' off. Cakes to bake, maybe a few items for the grill. He wants to give JD an awesome party.

Almost down to blue there Mannie. A much better colour for you. How's the cake coming? Tori loved the one that was made for her birthday. The kitties will love it. So what time is the party starting? Tori's raring to go.

Time to party!!! Thanks all you guys for all the help with the cinnamon cake for JD's. Tess and Binks cleaned the bowl, Gracie licked the beaters, Shadow got into the flour, and well it was kinda everywhere and well - dude you now have spots! Raja tried to restore order. Spot brought his special spice bag filled with exotic cinnamon... it is so good.... Moonie - you are the best!: so patiently grating all that cinnamon. SO! Cake is baked, and we is off to party. We thought we'd bring a few extra stuff too - so JD would have a great party. I hope all those tuna canapes, and shrimp puffs, and chicken kabobs and turkey strips and salmon balls will fit in the furrari.... oh, and uh Gracie? uhhhhhm the mixer? it's got all these teeth markers on the cord.... WOOT - PARTY!! ~~ Mannie

Hi barb - Oh I soooo agree. I have no excuse, but I am ready for some NI NI,soon....

Mannie is elated that Tori is having a good time. He says he will bring her hoe safe and sound, and promises not to speed in the furrari. I'm trying to remember, but wasn't Tori the frost recipient of the cinnamon birthday cake? Seems Stu and Mannie created that one afternoon while testing recipes. What fun these kitties have.

Michelle...funny what you said about teeth marks in the mixer cord? Well....you should check out our house. There are little Gracie teeth marks in everything including lamp shades (luckily in the bedroom), cords, BOOKS, magazines...whatever seems to catch her attention. But they are such darling teefie marks.

Mannie is looking good...hey he got into :mrgreen: :mrgreen: tonight...and you may get some sleepus while he's in nice healing numbers!!

Looking forward to visiting condos tomorrow for a change...no more speed condos :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Marjorie! I loved the speed condos - so fun. enjoyed them. Too funny on the teethie marks... I had a cat a while back, now GA, that clawed everything - small petite little claw marks - she loved edges, especially book edges. I finally had to rescue the one section of my "good keeper books". funny how they have these little quirks...

Hey Gracie - I had such fun too! You guys were so cool in the kitchen making the cake and other fuds, we did good. I think JD had fun. I sure like Tess's furrari. It was great too that you guys let Tori ride shotgun. She was so excited. WOOT! Hey - what's up for tomorrow? OOOO - WAIT: Muffins OTJ party! More cooking !!!!!!!!!!!!! ~~ Mannie
