Happy Tuesday and sending tons of healing vines for Tiger and Shylo and more HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes for JD on his "true" birthday!
Our habit around here is when it approaches Mommy's bedtime (about 10:30 when Mike is home and 12 when he's not), LBG goes to bed with me. I think the signal for her is when I wash my face. Sunday night, it was approaching midnight, the temps had dropped, Mike was late, I was sick with a sore throat and cold, and was very ready for bed. Tobey had finally passed out from a food coma    I tested and fed Gracie and said "time for bed, baby girl". She took off running out to the catio fast as those little legs would run and in a split second, she was back with a wrist band in her mouth. She plopped it at my feet as if to say let's play, Mom!!! Aah, Gracie girl, mama doesn't feel good...let's go to bed. Nope....she picked it up in her mouth (which is really funny because she's tiny and has an itty bitty mouth and this rubber wrist band would fit a man's wrist), ran back out on the catio, and 30 seconds later, ran back in with it in her mouth and dropped it by me again let's play, Mom!!!!!!. Mean old mommy that I am, I closed the catio, left the band where it was, scooped her up, set the alarm, turned off the lights, and plopped her in bed on the sherpas. Aahhhhhh...the sherpas!!!! Knead, knead, knead, knead......Principessa is happy
Lovely night on Sunday night but icky bouncy day yesterday. LBG got more jooce today.
I'm glad Mike got home Sunday night. I had taken Airborne earlier and Sun and Mon nights took big doses of Nyquil as I had appts I needed to make this morning and work tomorrow. I'm feeling almost 100% now so my sore throat/cold was somewhat short lived.
Have a great day!
