Sorry didnt get a chance to post yesterday but there was nothing exciting to report for Doogle anyway. Did get a new vial of Lantus (was going to get the pens but I couldnt put out the $300+ for them). A new vial has definitely made a difference in his numbers. We upped his dose back to 3 and let it work. So this morning we are getting much better numbers than the past few days. Going to go visit my Mom in the hospital. She has to wait till Wednesday to get the kidney stone out. So she has to stay there for a few more days.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday. Its down right cool and we had a frost warning last night. I just hope the babies outside got into their homes.

Nice greenies today!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I knew getting a new vial would help. Plus we went back to 3u just to give him a boost. I am sure we will go back to 2.75 soon since he was doing pretty well with that before.

Went and saw my Mom. She is doing alot better but not happy she has to stay till at least Thursday. They cant get to her kidney stones till Wednesday. But at least she is able to get up and sit in a chair and has walked a couple of times. So all in all doing much better.

How old was your old vial Donna? I'm approaching 5 months (tomorrow) on mine and have been wondering how good it is (especially because I have been a total idiot and accidentally left it out way too often)

Hope Doogle surfs those pretty green numbers for you!!

Mine was literally 5 months old on Halloween. That is usually about the right time for me. I bet yours is getting pretty close.

Tell me about it. I forgot to print the coupon on goodrx.com to get it for $180 at Walmart so it was $192. I feel bad for those humans that are diabetic and catn afford it.
 
Nice number tonight! I will say this, when Doogle wants something and he isnt happy that you give it to him right then, he lets you know. I am sitting here watching Sleep Hollow and Doogle has been active and rambunctious all night. Well he comes across me to the table next to me and rubs on things innocently and then, he squats and pees on my hair clip! Now he had to know it was mine since it smelled like me. So because he was pissed, he pissed on my stuff....LOL. Gotta love our temperamental cats.
 
hehe making a statement, eh? :lol:

punkin occasionally did that to me, but it always signified a bladder infection. his usual way of telling me that he had one was to pee in the middle of our bed. WOOT! and i would find it when going to bed, of course. :roll:

nice numbers for Doogle today! hope your mom is doing ok. nothing like caring for a diabetic cat and your mom in the hospital at the same time.
