I realized I have not posted in a few days.

So DoDo has been up and down. WE have some really good nadirs and then we have some rambunctious ups and downs.

Yesterday we had a vet appointment and she took a look at the curves. She said, like many on here, that his pancreas seems to want to try to work. There was one day this week that I waited until later in the evening to give him his insulin since his PS was pretty low at 180.

Other than that his appetite has been great, his feeding tube area is healing nicely, and he has a great attitude.

Last night I didn't wake up with my alarm and nor did my mom so we ended up sleeping through the night. I think even DoDo appreciated that.

Hope everyone is doing well.

:)

Your ups and downs are from you good nadirs. Try not to shoot the bounce. His liver will get used to the good nadirs eventually.

Your doing great, don't stay away so long. I was wondering where everyone went.

Wow, your vet knows what a pancreas is let alone what is does? sorry, couldn't resist. I honestly think there might be one vet that H saw that could identify a sputtering pancreas [and that's a *might*].

Heheh! That is why I changed to her for DoDo's internist.

I really really liked her with this DKA episode and the more I talked to her I thought she was a hidden jewel who would work with us.
