I use Purina Proplan Metabolic chicken for MC. I am not certain what percent carb that is though. I have used Fancy Feast beef gravy lovers for HC before, but he threw up after he ate it so I ended up giving dry food. I don’t have anymore dry food though I gave it away. I have Karo syrup. Could that be mixed with his regular food if we needed HC? Or I could try the beef gravy lovers again if needed.

Yes. You can add karo to LC to get MC and HC, but it's trial error to get the carb% right.

Just some LC with a little MC mixed in would have been fine. While he is below your reduction point, he is still in the normal range for BG.

No I found out that none of my food is considered HC. I have some temptations treats or I could give more honey and MC mixed.

So there is. When we scroll all the way down, we don't see the +1, +2 etc. so I was counting cells from the AMPS.
Can you delete that blank column?

He is now at 73 at +5.5. He is difficult in keeping his BG back up when he drops like that. I end up freaking out and giving him treats or something. I am trying to remain calm and listen. What’s next?

Yes, lower numbers are scary but it's a matter of getting used to them. When you are testing often, you have the tools to keep him safe

See what @Wendy&Neko says, but since this could be SRT coming through and how low he hung with that food, I'd consider a slight BCS tonight depending on how rest of cycle goes. And I think I'd reduce to 10-10.5U (as opposed to 11U).

I agree @FrostD. Also I need to rest. I’ve caught another cold or something from my grandchild over Thanksgiving. I really hope Max’s SRT is starting to work. It’s scary with him because it’s hard to get his BG back up plus whenever he eats too much he starts having problems with his pancreatitis. So he’s eaten a lot today but we had to. I know I worry too much though. I’m getting ready to check him again.

I’m not sure what dose to give Max tonight. I want to do a BCS but not sure how much. Also I don’t know what his new dose should be. We had a hard time as usual raising his BG after going too low. He was fed a lot of food and honey. He has IBD so the gravy’s in the medium carb I gave him gave him diarrhea. That’s happened before. I’ve got to find a HC and MC without gravy that he can tolerate. I’m not sure if it was the food, the honey or just eating way more than usual, but he has some terrible diarrhea now and is bloated. I’m not sure that he will be able to eat much at all tonight and I’m afraid he may drop too low again. I’m really happy about his BGs coming down though! I’ve just got to find higher carb food he can tolerate for when this does happen. Thank you so very much again Bhooma for helping me. You are awesome. @Wendy&Neko or @FrostD or @Bandit's Mom. What do you recommend that I do on his dose tonight and going forward tomorrow?
