This is the most yellow Trix has had in a looooong time :YMSIGH: . Still working off the old pen in case she's got some NDW going on. I know in the past, any time I've switched out the insulin, it hasn't made a difference...she's either been on an NDW kick, or needed another increase. I so hate wasting stuff, especially when it's so expensive. She's only on her 4th dose of F1.00...hopefully we'll start seeing better numbers...

BTB....woohoo!

I hope the new dose works. These are very unlike Trixie numbers.

I guess we'll try the new pen tonight....these numbers are so not like Trixie, even for NDW. But, if the new pen doesn't cut it, I guess we're up for an increase in the morning. Either way, I hope it doesn't take us forever to get her back in consistently good shape. Not loving this at all...

Yes, it looks like both Trixie and Simon just aren't showing us their usual numbers. I hope it just is a problem with the older insulin. Come on, Trixie, let's see some lower numbers today!

I'm still not sure if I should go for the new pen this evening, or hold out 2 more cycles and see if she just needs another increase. Honestly, she hasn't stumped me THIS much in quite a while!

So yeah...I guess the old pen wasn't bad after all. Either she had a much bigger case of NDW than usual, or she held a bounce longer than usual. I was iffy when I told hubby "just one more try" with the old pen, but I'm sure glad we did it. Curious to see what tomorrow will bring...

Hi Amy, I was just going to say that's a nice drop at the +4 when I saw your post. So it's not the old pen. :-D Trixie read her condo and heard dosecrease! You asked me yesterday if I was still feeding Maggie NV Instinct, and yes, Maggie still eats it and it's been great for her numbers. She didn't care for the Duck flavor, but she loves chicken. Thanks for visiting us yesterday when she was diving. Have a good night and nice to see Trixie in greens.
 
This is so much more like Trixie...I hope it's here to stay. She has certainly made me nervous over the past couple days!

Instinct seems really good for Trix's numbers, too...I just can't bring myself to mess with a good thing, especially since she likes it!
