11/3 Pumbaa - bounce day after hitting 45 last night

I can't believe that, on his reduced dose, Pumbaa spent about 1-1/2 hours at 45 last night! I'm still looking for his AM/PM button to switch him off of PM for these low numbers so I can get some sleep. :lol:

I'm thankful that Pumbaa only hit a high of 335 today, instead of going red!

I reduced his dose to 2.0U this morning due to the 45s last night. We shall see how he does on that dose.

Yes, I am also praying that this dose provides a bit of breathing room!

At the same time, I really do feel bad that I don't want Pumbaa to be earning dose reductions right now! His numbers are still too sporadic in the good range of blues and greens, so I know that he's going to have to go back up at some point. *sigh*

Well, the good thing is that he cleared that 300 really easily, and quickly.

Paws crossed for nice, flat blues today. Also, I think Dale pointed out that it takes a few cycles for the reduction to "hit" so maybe the 2u is a good dose for the next few weeks.

Don't feel bad about things, you need to juggle a bunch of stressful, care taker things right now -plus a job - so a little break from chasing Pumbaa's numbers is not a bad thing to want. And he will be fine in the 100s.
