11/3 Howie AMPS 181 dosing question

Howie hit his first blue this AM that I’ve tested that I know of. I’m currently stalling but need to get ready for work soon. Recommendations on a dose? This is day 2 of 8.5 units (IAA kittie) on TR.
 
I'm not sure what your schedule is. If you are able to come home and test you can shoot the full dose and leave a little extra food out.

If you can't come home, and are not able to leave food out, you can try a reduced dose of 7.0 units. Although he could still drop some from the depot of the 8.5 unit dose. It's better if you can leave a little extra food out.
 
He’ll have food out in an auto feeder. After 15 minutes of stalling he went to 202. Still do 7 units? Thanks so much!
 
Thanks. I won’t get home until between +8.5-9.5. I appreciate the help. Not quite sure how this depot works as I switched from Prozinc.

Also, is there a method to determining a reduced dose in situations like this? Is it typically more than 1 unit lower?
 
I think it just depends on the situation. You don't want to drop too much and lose momentum, but you want to keep the cat safe. I looked at the SS and the PS number and suggested the dose. The PS isn't too much lower than some of the other numbers you've shot.
