I have a feeling I may have hit a bad spot when giving her her shot yesterday evening because despite indicating she'd have an active PM cycle, she didn't. Not only that, but I did feel a slight bump after I gave her her shot, plus I had 2 curious kids(my sister's fiancee and his kids also joined thanksgiving dinner) that had me a smidge distracted. I am wondering if I should start trying other injection spots before of the bump, though I've been trying to not get the same place on the scruff twice in a row, it doesn't always happen that way.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, in spite of the extra family around. Tip has some nice blues yesterday, but she could have been a bit stressed by the extra people around. Paws crossed for better numbers tomorrow.

I try rotating the injection sight around. I do right side in the AM and left side in the PM and I also try to rotate higher up and lower down. I mostly do around the shoulders and down the side of chest. If you are feeling a bump where you normally inject, try avoiding that area for a few days. Here is a chart showing alternate areas to shoot.

Christmas kept me up all night, took a nap, then Tip woke me up from a nap because she decided to have a bout of zoomies, now I can't get back to sleep, go figure. :lol: I'm awake enough now to make sense at least.

It was fun, even with extra family around. It's possible she was stressed. I'm not sure if she'd let me us any of the other shot spots, but it's worth a try. If not, I'll just try and move far enough away from the spot on her scruff.
