Revson just likes to bounce. You're definitely seeing lower numbers in the PM and bounces in the AM. I recommend a stern talk with Revson's liver. (FYI: that stern talk has never worked with Gabby's liver but ECID.)

Not a bad start for Revson. Hopefully he won't pull out the dramatic trampoline like he did yesterday.

Morning! Here's to new days, and good numbers! What a wild ride yesterday. Having one bouncy kitty I can relate. Have a great day today. I hope Revson does too.

We've tried encouraging, supportive talks with Zener's liver. Doesn't seem to help much either. :lol: :lol: Sometimes he listens to his LL aunties. Revson, your bean will take good care of you so Mr. Liver can relax, ok? You're doing a great job, Amy. Have a good one!

I hope this bounce clears quickly. We hate to see it and the kitties probably aren't too fond of it either. But it seems to be part of the process.

Revson the bouncing roo is making me crazy.

So, it's an hour before shooting and he's HI again.
He's hungry since he probably hasn't eaten since early afternoon.

Ok to feed him? He's cranky and batting at my mom's civvie cat.

One of the hardest things with bounces is that you have to wait them out. It can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear.

I may get swatted for this...and please know it's just what i would do...
but if it were binks and he was in high numbers...I'd go ahead and let him eat a little... :oops:

if someone else disagrees, of course I'd say follow their advice...
 
I'm with Celi. If Revson's already in high numbers at +11 and he's acting starved, go ahead and give him a bite to eat. What will it do....raise his numbers?!!! :lol:
 
The downside to feeding early like that.....cats are creatures of habit, and if you start feeding earlier, kitty may expect that to become part of the "feed me contract" (to borrow a phrase from Julie! ;-) )

I'm pretty sure that kitty won't starve if he has to wait an hour....although he may try very hard to convince you otherwise! :lol:
 
yes, punkin is very big on The Feed Me Contract. no deviations allowed. here's one of my fav punkin I AM STARVING AND WE HAVE A CONTRACT videos. it's only a minute so it won't make you totally insane. he's now been doing this very thing for more than an hour tonight and he only ate 2.5 hours ago. so he gave it a rest for maybe an hour after eating an entire can of fancy feast. you'd think we were starving him.

i'm sure it wouldn't have hurt anything if you had fed him. if i fall too hard for punkin's piteous self, i give him plain boiled chicken which shouldn't affect his BG too much.
