Morning I ~O) ~O) can't wait for Mannie kitteh Barista's coffee. He is the best! Maggie's AMPS is a bit on the high side, as I fed her a little hc fuds after the 81 at +3! I knew it would rise her just enough to keep her surfing and also she eats when low.
Good news for Detective Poo's daily report! Maggie had prezzies overnight. Her bottom was a little messy, and I had a time helping her clean up, as I kept getting slapped. This is on the third day, so sometimes it's an every other day affair and other times a third day, not matter, we'll take what we can get, right Mags!
We're expecting rain showers! I need to make trip to the Vet to pick up something for Mags and then Petco for some Pure Bites freeze dried turkey. The turkey doesn't seem to get dried up and as hard as the chicken Pure Bites.
Vines and prayers for Roni & Moonie, and all kitties needing them. Any news on Roni & Moonie lately, or have I missed it?

Deborah, thanks for the poopy vines as they worked. Mags had some nice aroma poopies! :lol:
Lisa, I am not sure if this is helping, but what I tried to stop the big drops at the +3 was to take Maggie's bg about 20 to 30 minutes before her shot. If it's a low pmps, I give her a little food ten minutes before the shot, not much, and it seems to flatten her out and no big bounce. The big drops cause the bounce with Mags. This is with a lot of data on her, and I've just recently started experimenting. I know Libby says the bounces will work themself out, but i thought i'd give Mags a helping hand and see if it helps

Morning Ann and Maggie! How nice to see Mags back in her usual numbers this morning, and great news about the lb prezzie! Does she still zoom zoom afterwards?

I'm jealous, i wish we had petco up here. I visited a petco while we were in Colorado this summer and i love that store! So many choices!

Hi Tracy, I wish you had a Petco nearby, too. It is a great store. I really miss Maggie's zoom zooms! She hasn't done it in a long time, and I think it's because she seems to have a little arthritis in one of her front feet. Every so often I notice a slight limp. She sees Vetty this Monday, and I'll have him check it.

Melissa, you are so right with "how dare i touch her bum!" :lol: That part is off limits for sure. I usually have to do it quick.

Ella. welcome back home. I think the experimentation is working. I couldn't tell today if it helped, as she had a higher AMPS than usual.

Hi Barb & Checkers, we were posting same time. Yes, almost green. I think the food experiment is helping. I'll be watching to see how Checkers does with your experiment. I am looking forward to some light rain, but it looks like we won't have much after all, as it's moving east.

Bummer on the backside cleanup :sad: Our guys need a little help back there too once in a while, and they are always less than thrilled :roll:

Way to go Surfer Girl! it looks like you may be on to something, Ann.

Have you tried the Simply Nourish dog treats at Petsmart? The chicken is softer that the PureBites and a lot cheaper! Just don't get the Sweet Potato and Chicken ones, the package is almost identical.

We got a whole 1/4" of rain! Whooo Hoooo! More this weekend though.

HI Ann and Maggie! So happy you got a nice surf today! Freeze dried turkey huh? We have only tried the chicken and they love it. I will have to try the turkey, I didn't know they made a turkey, I am sure the kitties would love it. We are getting rain today too, it is so nice. Makes me want to stay in all day though lol. Hope Maggie continues to surf and you have a fabulous day!

You're fortunate that you have a Petco that carries all the Pure Bites favorites. We have a PetSmart 2 miles from us that open about 4 months ago. Unfortunately they only stock the chicken flavor. I asked the manager why they don't stock the others and he said Corporate will only let him stock the chicken because they are a small store. I couldn't understand that but a call to PetSmart confirmed it. Isn't that stupid?

Sorry to cry on your shoulder about Pure Bites :cry: . I hope Maggie continues to do well and that you both have a wonderful day.

So far still surfing, but Mags just found some food I forgot to remove!

Hi Donna, thanks on the food experiment. It could just be coincidence, too, with the no bouncing, and she may have stopped on her own. I go thru a lot of Kitty Wipes. I should buy online, just thought of it, maybe cheaper.

Ann & Tess, thanks for the tip on the Simply Nourish dog treats at Petsmart? I'll take a look next time. I noticed today at petco the dogs aisle seems to have more choices. I saw some neat dog beds and carriers.

Hi John & Frosty, thanks for visiting. That is strange why your new PetsMart won't stick the turkey Pure Bites. Come to think of it. I don't know if our PetsMart here stocks it. I usually go to PetsMart for the "World's Best Cat Litter" and the store is also closer to a Walmart. I think I'll stay away from Walmart until after the first of the year. It was crazy crowded there a few days ago.

What a nice surf for Maggie today. Yay on the poo. Sorry you had to help her clean up. That's not fun.
