I need to bug my friend again about cleaning the rat cage. I think she got busy with the Thanksgiving stuff between her family and her fiance's family and wedding planning stuff. If not, I'll ask the vet tech. I am not bothering with sending a group text to ask people since all but one never responded to my text about needing a ride to and from surgery

Sorry about those people in your life not willing to help but it's true that we find out who are friend is in times of need.

Flat day Back to a skinny 2.5 units.

Yes, those people aren't friends anymore. What makes me particularly is that the group text was revived two days ago with someone wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and one of the "friends" immediately responded back. Like you can respond to a Happy Thanksgiving text but can't be bothered to respond to my text and help me out?? At least give me a yes or no answer instead of ignoring me. There was nothing in the group text between my text and the Happy Thanksgiving one. Even if I texted people privately they would still just leave me on read. It's happened before.

I'm not going to move the litter box into the bedroom on Wednesday. I won't be able to move it back into the bathroom later and I feel bad asking magic dog's owner to do it and see all the pee pads Magic dog will just hang out by the rat cage so Leroy should be able to just sneak out of the bedroom and into the bathroom.

That's awful, I'm so sorry! Unfortunately I can relate to being sort of the "overlooked" friend and it's really crappy. It's bad any time but to not even acknowledge you when it's something like surgery is insane.
