Had a nice Thanksgiving with good friends. Buster did nicely, as well. He's still just a lil higher than I would like, but...he gets an Adequan injection tomorrow. I would like to see if that makes any difference. We're also nearing the end of a pen. Perhaps a new pen will do the trick? And so, we shall wait just another few days.

Buster was zoomin' around the house this morning! Had that crazy cat look. I'm going to count that as playing  He has also been very chatty lately. We try to give him more attention but he's not the type to sit in your lap, and he is far too dignified to play with toys, so it's kind of hard. He will also gently bite you if you pet him for too long

I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving if you celebrated. And Happy Hanukkuh, too! And, happy Fursday to anyone who had "just another day." :-D

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving and Buster is doing well. It will be interesting to see if the Adequan makes a difference in his numbers.

Re: 11/29 Buster PMPS 134

 I have a kitty similar in personality to Buster that you just described. So hard to know what she wants me to do when she's acting nuts/lovey/needy..and I'm almost sure to do the wrong thing. Seems she is most interested in having me chat at her, so for the most part I chat and sometimes, much to everyone's horror, I sing made up songs to her

Q: What is the Adequan for?

Have a great night Tara!

Hey Kim - thanks for stopping by. I carry on complete conversations with Buster quite often  The Adequan is an injectable joint supplement for arthritis. It's made from cow trachea  It seems to be helping him. Buster is only about 13/14 years old and he is showing the beginning stages of arthritis. I originally took him in because his joints click when he walks and he was licking his elbows a lot. He still clicks, but he doesn't lick his arms anymore. He now trots down the hallway and jumps up on things, whereas before he would usually just walk everywhere and spent most of his time on the floor.

Sounds like that stuff really works! Thanks for letting me know Tara. I just wrote it in the cat book for future reference :-D
