We got some snow last night that made the morning trip to tbp a little slick. But at least I wasn't one of those involved in a fender bender. I hope everyone enjoys their Monday.

WCR: Blackie is feeling good. In almost every WCR, I say how well Blackie is eating. Yesterday I weighed all the kitties and Blackie has gained more than half a pound in the last month. I guess its time to cut back on his food. I also wonder if this is why his insulin needs have gone up. I got lots of snuggles yesterday and last night from Blackie and this morning all P's are in place.

Hoping for a great day for Blackie - maybe come blues today?

I struggle with the weight thing with Mannie all the time - such a hassle. Just when I think I can cut back he has one of those all day long dives and food intake goes up, and and and..... repeat several times over. he needs to dump a couple of pounds... good luck with Blackie!

Holy C**P! I had a message from DH telling me about the 179, but I didn't get it until he had left. So I ran home and I found this diving kitty! Who gave Blackie the scuba gear?? I fed his favorite 11% food FF Medleys and I'll recheck before I go back tbp. DH will be home in a couple of hours. Why couldn't Blackie do this yesterday?

I was hoping Blackie would come up with the 11%. I fed a Tb of 16% Merrick and I'll stay home and check again in a bit.

Blackie....wow....Shadow has come up again so if you went down there to find him, he is on the blue floor. (too much karo and HC I guess)
Was that your picture on the calendar my friend? I just got mine today....it's you in the green grass? You have that mink look that Shadow has in the sunlight too! gorgeous boy! :mrgreen:

Ele, it's all Rocket's fault, he started it!! Tinkles joined the diving club today too, with a 32, AFTER the 12%...sheesh, they just love to give us a few (more) gray hairs, don't they? Come up please, Blackie!

Blackie had a great green surf today after diving. He doesn't usually drop that fast. It's interesting that if DH & I both went to work today we would get the +2 and when we came home at lunch would be shocked by that +7 or +8, depending on which lunch hour DH has that day. And if DH got the +3, but not the +2, we would have thought that Blackie came down 58 points in 3 hours instead of the 102 he came down in one hour. Maybe I'm over analyzing, but it just shows that getting the data is so important.

I did shave his dose tonight to a skinny 4.5 - DH has tomorrow off too, but we'll both be back at tbp on Wednesday and I think Blackie would have gone below 40 if I hadn't fed the 11%.

yes i must confess...Rocket must be the mastermind behind all this taking place....he is teaching them to dive...so in a way...he sort of doesn't want to be the only one being poked every 1/2 hr!!!!

hey Blackie let's see if we get more divers! you gotta help me but shhh make sure your bean doesn't catch you or else you'll be in time out...my bean tends to have heart attacks so no time for her to put me on time-outs!! i've got it all down to a T with her!!!!ha ha ha!
