Scratchie'smom

Yesterday

Thanks Rhiannon, Carla and Mary for stopping by. I'm glad to see blue on my boy again. He was happy, playful, purring, everything from midnight on. Lots of cuddles, kisses it was wonderful.

DH informed me last night that he will no longer even attempt to test Scratchie. He basically stated he would prefer that I put him down. I'll put someone down but it won't be Scratchie! cat(2)_steam

Anyway - enough of that. Thankfully I have a great boss and we will work something out so that I can at least leave and get a +5.5 on him each day.

Recap of yesterday:

AMPS - 323
No testing by DH

AMPS - 185

Not really sure on the +3 or +6 number as I dropped the meter in the toilet this morning so it died. I do know that the +8.5 and the AMPS are right as had the new meter for those. Had to run off to Wal-Mart early this morning to pick up another one. This time I bought 2 so I have a back up. Rhinannon kept telling me to do that but I didn't get it done. Should be good now.

I hope he changes his mind quickly as you threaten to leave work to come home and test when he won't.
He seems to have forgotten he was doing it for You.
So I'll pray for his heart to be softer...

I keep hoping Scratchie will get to a blue once a cycle rhythm and let his body get used to the blue lagoon.

Yea, he's holding. DH doesn't know what time he ate so I'm not sure if the 218 has food in it, but I am assuming. Hopefully he will continue to surf and be safe until I get home. Hopefully he is also settling into this dose - that would be nice.

Boss says I can leave each day to do what needs to be done.

Thanks Rhiannon for stopping by. I appreciate it! Yea it was ugly last night. His daughter feels the same way - (SD - is that the right abbreviation for step-daughter. There is no dear in it!) I'm the wicked one you know even after 32 years!

Oh well. All I care is that Scratchie gets better and holds these numbers for a while...... keep paws crossed for us!

I agree with what Rhiannon said about your DH. I will pray for his heart to soften too. I'm so glad your boss is understanding and willing to work with you so you can go home and test during the day. Hopefully Scratchie will get used to the blues soon and quit the crazy bouncing.

I don't have a backup meter. I've thought about getting one before, but just haven't gotten around to it. I think I need to get one. I'm glad you were able to get a new one so quickly.

I need to work through some things so if you don't see a post from me for a couple of days, no worries. I need to quit venting the personal stuff so I need to calm down. Jo, don't worry about venting the personal stuff. It's all part of dealing with FD. We are here to support each other and sometimes venting helps because no one else understands what we are going through.
