Good Morning, Everyone,
We have much to be thankful for today. Three years ago on this date Rusty arrived at his furever home. We drove to Kingston, Ont. to pick him up from his Aunties Linda (Bear Man) and Ronnie (Luna). They had driven the penultimate lap in a DCIN relay transport from Phoebe's in Detroit. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who loved and cared for Rusty in his journey to his furever home--a journey that began in November 2008, when he was rescued from the streets of Plymouth MA. Thanks to Claudia for fostering him, to Phoebe and Charlie for loving him so much that they gave him the chance to move to a home where he would be the only kitty, to Venita and all of the volunteers at DCIN for arranging his transport, and to FDMB and all our friends in Lantus Land for help, support, and friendship.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Ella, Edward, and Rusty
Yo Kitties! Come celebrate with me today. We're going to march in the Macy Day parade as CATS. The balloons are going to fly. After the parade we'll eat hot dogs from the carts and stop at a deli for turkey sandwiches.
Rusty
P.s. We'll be at my niece's in CT today for a family gathering. Home by midnight, at which time Rusty will get a +18 shot and we'll see how the 18-hour shot schedule works (the following shot will be at normal PMPS time tomorrow evening, after we get back home to the Adirondacks). Rusty has a good, blue AMPS today and we'll leave out plenty of food for him.
