Yesterday
Needed my trusty cell phone alarm again last night. Shadow had 4 Ps yesterday and today, he already has 4 Ps because he was Playing with a ball this morning! Black Flash ran up and down the hallway and then I heard this strange noise. It was a plastic ball that my sister had brought for them to play with, the kind with a bell inside. Shadow suddenly found it and was having a great old time for himself. He has been such a sweetie over the past few days with all the testing and whatnot.
It really warms my heart to see him trotting down the hall, running around, and playing! :mrgreen:

those balls are Tray's favourite toy. He fetches so he's constantly finding them and bringing them to me so I can toss them down the hall and he can chase and repeat. It's so good to hear Shadow is feeling good and playing. And lovely numbers to start his and your Sunday

I will put more FD chicken on top to see if he will stop preening for a minute and eat a little.
Boy, you'd think he had a Thanksgiving feast the way he is cleaning his paws. what a riot! He basically ate the topping off and then walked away....spoiled brats, right? :lol:

Morning Pat - does my heart good to hear that Shadow is playing today. I love it when that "inner kitten" surfaces. He has really been racking up the good numbers, hasn't he? He deserves that FD chicken. sweet boy.

More FD chicken at +4 and he went back and ate some more. I put the food in a different room too...so he nibbled. What a change form the early days when he would inhale his food. Now, he eats like a lady. uh...that's silly....but it is true. He never really dives into his food nowadays. He ambles up to the bowl, inhales the aroma and takes his time eating slowly, savoring each bite. :lol: Like a gourmand ! that's better than saying a "lady"... :oops:

I gave him 3 temptations with his LC snack at +6. didn't make a dent in his dive. I haven't used them previously so I was just trying them out. How many would I need? Oh, Shadow is unstoppable when he is heading for the Andrea Doria anyway.
I gave him some HC at +7. Full steam ahead to nadir at +8....which won't be a normal nadir if the HC works. What a nice string of numbers for him today, eh? :mrgreen: It's nice to test every hour and not have a cell pone alarm...but come to think of it, I am getting very sleepy now! But it's nice to see greens in the day light. :mrgreen:

Wow! How beautiful these numbers are for Shadow!

Love that he enjoys playing with the jingly ball.

When I toss a little ball past my kitties, they look at it, look at me, look at it, then walk away. :? Now if I toss a Temptation treat that's a whole new game. They will get into position, wait for the toss, and bat it around and chase it across the floor. BigMac eats his and Cappi waits for another toss, then BigMac eats her treat too. Unfortunately we no longer play this game since it is contraband food. The freeze dried treats are only half as interesting to them. ....sigh...

He got 6 sprinkled Temptations on top of his dinner along with the FD chicken. I will see where that takes him since he is so late with his nadir usually. I am hoping for some insurance. Unless his Liver wakes up from its very unusually long sleep and decides to rear its ugly head. then I won't have to think about syringing gravy or anything along those lines.


Hey, did anyone ever wonder if the ears have a direct messaging route to the Liver..... :roll:

Not funny Pat! Lisa uses Do Lou's paw pad and he bounces too, so I'm going to choose not to believe that theory. :lol: Great green surf for Shadow today! You've got to be happy with that boy!
