Oliver is / was both acro and IAA positive.
If just IAA, it could be temporary and you can try SMASHING it, I think. You do push for the green like others, and you can also go with a slightly more aggressive approach in the dosing because you need to get ahead of it.
I picture it like a runaway locomotive and you need to be like Mighty Mouse to swoop ahead of it and push back at it.
Like a huge tug of war, you have to pull harder, give more insulin because it's like the IAA cancels out what insulin you give, making it not work. Very strange, it is.
If just acro, you don't aim for below 100 and it's pretty much a permanent condition.
If both, then the acro trumps the IAA and you aim for blues.
With Ollie, it seemed that the IAA was fighting me for the longest time.... I needed the insulin and also lots of R, but still it fought back. I have a feeling awhile back that we were able to SMASH the IAA and we no longer need the R as we did in the past.
If you look at Ollie's ss, you will see the dosing done and when we had our breakthrough.
There are a few others that have just IAA that you can ask as well.
Above 20% for IAA is positive.
Between 12-92 for acro is considered OK, but you have to wonder about a number near that high range.
