The pen was empty, I realized this morning that she did not get anything yesterday evening, or maybe .5 units. I took some from an old vial I have for this morning and I should receive a new pen today or tomorrow.

One time I was wondering why Tyler's BG all of a sudden went up for about 4-5 days
Well there was no lantus left in the pen.
It was hard for me to see if there was any insulin in the pen at all
Finally I said let me shoot some out before I give it to him, nothing came out lol
I tried again it was empty.
This happened in 2020
Poor Tyler :p

I'm glad the old vial and as good .

Thank you, Diane, I feel less stupid knowing that happened to you as well! I honestly don't know how that happened, I know it felt weird yesterday evening so I guess it was just that one.

I felt like an idiot lol, Even when I started the new pen I still couldn't see the insulin in it through the gray casing it's in. You're not stupid at all. Crap happens :p
