Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This year I am thankful I was able to turn Xander’s health around pretty quickly from when he was diagnosed in June. Initially, his very quick progress and dose reductions made me certain that he was headed for remission but he eventually plateaued at his current dose. I was disappointed at first, but even if he never makes it to remission, i’m okay as long as he’s happy and healthy.

I feel so fortunate that I was led here after a desperate Reddit post not knowing what to do after being given no guidance from the vet (I can’t remember who it was that referred me here but THANK YOU so much). Not only am I grateful for the advice and guidance given when I needed it most, but I am so glad to be a part of a community of such kind people and be able to share in their cat’s lives.
