Okay folks,
I'm either being my usually panicky self or Shadow is declining.
I just can't tell.
I called this morning to set up another ultrasound.... ( dec 12)
She's been really iffy to get to eat.
I thawed out the beef liver I have for the liver shake. I bought chicken livers at the store. ( last time they didn't have chicken)
and I studied the big food list for something just a notch above her usual to see if just getting a new variety would spark some interest.
She barely touched her food last night but ate some freeze dried pieces.
This morning she ate her 1/4 can of breakfast.... then 2nd breakfast was just a nibble.
I had to leave so I ran and grabbed an egg and gave her the yolk. She gobbled all of the yolk. ( yay!)
I bought her some fancy feast elegant medleys chicken Florentine with greens and delicate sauce and she just went crazy for that.
She usually eats 8 to 10% carbs.... so I wasn't to scared to try this chicken Florentine at 12 or 13%.
I sure as heck need a medical scanner ( like on star trek) so I could know if she's just being THAT Picky :YMSIGH: or her pylorus is getting
thicker. nailbite_smile
lately , all the additives aren't helping her to eat her usual variety....
bonita flakes, freeze dried raw turkey, freeze dried cooked turkey, fortiflora, freeze dried salmon, even bacon
and she's getting ondansetron and cyproheptadine.
Does Cypro build up a tolerance and need increasing ?
I've been having to pull out the raw shrimp and cut it tiny and mix it in her food and she still leaves some.
That's what I had to feed her when she was on the juice.
One day at a time... I say.... confused_cat
looks like the liver may go in the trash tonight... ( the beef I thawed out)
I'm just so scared that her pylorus is thickening and she suddenly won't be able to eat.
