Hello all,

I am looking to buy some ReliOn insulin syringes. I've been reading the stickies detailing the info on syringes with half unit marking. Cinnamon's numbers are lowering a bit and I gave .5u this am but am not comfortable just eyeballing it. There isn't a Walmart in NYC and unless I am searching incorrectly, I didn't find it on Walmart's site on line. Suggestions anyone?

Sorry, can't help with the question, don't know ReliOn at all -- but do hear you on the eyeballing part: It's tough. good luck with your search.

Gwen, I looked too....there isn't a Walmart in NYC...I'm very surprised by that! However, I know some people have said that they have gotten syringes with 1/2 unit markings from Walgreens, so you might try there. Maybe give them a call, and ask if they carry them, or can order them for you?

If you do not have success getting to Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream, you may order the syringes online too. I believe you can order some from hocks (the box at the top of the page) or from Walmart too I believe.....

There is a section about Hypo Took Kity supplies. We suggest that you have on had at all times some high carb gravy foods. Select something from the janet & Binky chart that is >18% carb with gravy. We feed only the gravy to raise the numbers if necessary, so please get some of those cans to have in case of lower numbers.

Nice amps for Cinnamon this morning...I hear ya on how difficult it is to eyeball some of the doses. I too order from Hocks.
