Hi everybody. I haven't posted for a couple of days and I couldn't find the last one. Things have been pretty quiet in Tori land the last few days. I'm not complaining- Quiet is a good thing. We all know how good Tori is at doing drama.

Numbers wise there has been a lot of yellow and a smidgen of blue and no green worth speaking of so I decided to up her a bit on the 25th to 1.75. I think the reason for the higher numbers is food related. She's been a bit of a Miss Fussy Pants lately and only wants food that is a bit higher in carbs than what she usually eats and also she is eating a bit more. This is a very good thing as we are still trying to fatten her up a bit. So therefore we have to accept the slightly higher numbers and adjust the insulin accordingly. There have been no signs of a CP flare thank GOd. Two in month last month was more than enough.

WCR- She's been doing really well. All the P's are accounted for each day. She seems happy so I'm happy. Her neck nodes are staying down too so the Chemo is doing it's job. She is due for her next treatment on Dec 10th if I remember right. Hopefully her WBC will be good and there will be no problems otherwise so we can go ahead.

I have a bit of a dilemma. Next Friday my son and I have to be in Calgary for his appointment at the Marfan's Clinic. If the roads are lousy we will have to leave on Thursday. I'm really kind of concerned about Tori. My daughter although 21 and a mother has proven time and time again that she can't really be counted on to look after her. Heck I ask her to leave food out for them before she goes to bed on occassion and she always forgets. Daniel's girlfriend (who is coming with us) is trying to get her friend to come over and give the insulin. (She used to work at a vets and is familiar will giving shots). If not I think I may just board overnight at our vets. It will work out I'm sure one way or the other but you know me I like to worry or so I'm told.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm off to check what everyone has been up to.

What a nice Tori report! I am glad she is doing well. Weight gain, and no CP flares YAY!! And good luck with the dosecrease.

I hope your travel plans work out OK. It can be such a hassle. I am sure it will work out OK. Good luck!

Well at least she's still on the yellow floor so I guess I can't be too upset. She was nibbling fairly late in the cycle. Tomorrow is another day.

Have a good night everybody.
