She had a nice sub 150 start, but I had to come into work by +3, so I fed her some higher LC at +2 to keep her hopefully coasting higher for longer. I might be able to make it home around +6 or 7, but I have a meeting at +5, so the day is a bit busy. Eric did sleep late, so he's working from home and will feed her at +4 and maybe +5 - I haven't actually decided if I want him to.

She's slowly coming back down. We likely slowly.

I'm also worried she has a UTI - she's doing the same thing where she lays down in a very specific manner, and her back ripples if I run my hands on other side of hip by her tail, which is what she was doing last time. She's also been meowing in the litter box more, and sometimes just laying in there but never leaving anything behind. So her vet is gonna make a quick visit tomorrow to check on her.

Switching to this vet right after Kit was diagnosed in 2019 has honestly been one of the best decisions I've made. Having one who does home visits is such a blessing. And the fact that she's okay with me texting questions has made me feel better about Kit's decline this year. She's mostly stable for the last bit of time, but she's definitely not anywhere near where she was at the start of 2024, and the last week has felt like she's declined a bit more. She apparently didn't get the message that she wasn't supposed to age anymore!
