Hi Heike, I am patiently waiting for Ivy to work this dose
I had the meeting earlier and she’s going to make me a few higher carb recipes to have for when Ivy goes very low and I want to bring her up since I don’t have that on hand.
She thinks Ivy looks good on paper overall she looked at her labs and her glucose situation and think she looks pretty good. I’ve been working with her for about 2.5 years now so she knew Ivy before we were dealing with diabetes.
She doesn’t think that I should add any alternative protein recipes since Ivy does so well with her lamb. (She sees lots of animals that don’t do so well on new recipes).
She thinks that it may not be worth trying other novel proteins at this time since Ivy is so stable on the lamb.
She’s always afraid of rocking the boat because you never know what you’re gonna get, she feels if it’s not broken let’s not try to fix it. At the moment and I kind of agree with that.
She may give me some ideas on how I can incorporate some vegetables just to get a little bit of other antioxidants and things into her diet. Sort of like a topper to her food and see how she tolerates that.
She did remind me that since I use egg yolk powder in essence I am giving a chicken product in a way. And because I also use cellulose, that is a plant fiber.
So I will wait for her report from our meeting, but she said it will take her over a week to get it to me. She’s quite busy. This is the longest I’ve had to wait for her report.
I hope you and Binie are doing well today. And have a calm night with kisses for Binie.
