Happy Caturday!!!! Sending continued prayers to Jill and Mike. We're also sending out lots of prayers and healing vines to Donny, Tawny, Rocket/Comet, Charlie, Attie, and any others who need them.

Gracie is back in blue today and we're watching her closely. Mike will be home shortly (YAY!!) She's curled up in her favorite morning spot in the sun right now....I gave her breffis #2 and without really getting out of position, her little
tongue (which is quite long) reached out to lick her plate and then she settled back into her comfy position. That guest room is everyone's favorite in the morning in winter for the sunshine and sometimes I'll have my coffee/paper in there with them.

Tobey's herpes broke out in his left eye again but as soon as he started just a little bit of squint, I checked the eye and saw the conjunctiva getting red so I started him on all his herpes meds. He looks much better today. I know it was bothering him yesterday because he was so quiet; I even gave him a little bupe. Last night, he was somehow convinced that I was out in the garage (I was in bed) because he kept hollering his head off at the garage door and scratching on it like he does if I'm out there working out. Then I wondered if he was "psychic" and was trying to tell me there was a fire in the garage :lol: :lol: So I checked, all was ok, I took him to bed, and everyone slept for a few hours.

Way to clear that bounce Gracie! Too funny about Tobey and the garage. My friend, who I gave Ruby and Thor to, her other cat Sammy was just dx with some sort of herpes-related eye condition too. It's been going on for almost 2 years, but we didn't get the correct dx until going to the opthamologist a couple weeks ago. The meds do seem to have made a dent, finally. He goes for his first recheck on Wednesday.

What a great beginning of the day!! Gracie is such a good girl with all the testing you do, she is a trooper!

Tobey, did you get lost? Forgot where you were and what time it was? Maybe you need to cut down on that cimmamum!! (only kidding; wait until you taste my cimmamum Xmas cookies in a few weeks!)

Lysine helps people with herpes. I wonder if it would help kitties?

Lookin' good today Gracie! That was quite a bounce for her yesterday. What meds does Tobey take for herpes?

Nice surf going baby girl!!!! Glad you got rid of those colors to not be named. I'm headed out to run errands and Mike is now BIC.

Anne: I hope Muffin is doing really well. Yikes on Sammy's herpes going on that long without treatment. The ulcers they usually get can scar the eye if not treated aggressively.

Roni: She is a trooper!!! Such a sweet girl no matter what.

Lyresa: I wish you could meet her in person...she is ADORABLE and she is a Lil Stinka...our sweet crazy baby!

Ella: Hoping she continues to like a nice green number today. Yes...I think Tobey must have been hallucinating on the bupe :lol: Either that or he thought YOU were in the garage and he wanted his Auntie Ellabean!

Linda: Yes...we give Tobes L-lysine always. 500 mg bid when he has an outbreak and 250mg bid as maintenance.

Tena: oh yes....much better than yesterday! Miss you and the girls!

Melissa: I put a list of his meds on your condo. Well...after Gracie's Not so Excellent Adventure on Thanksgiving, she earned that bounce....just glad it cleared so quickly.

Celi: I have no idea where you find these but they absolutely crack me up and that's exactly what he was doing!!

Rosalie: Yes....I'm also glad she is flattening back out. Mike is very glad to be home and I'm happy he's here.

Hi Marje, nice cycle today for your sweet Gracie. I hope Tobes eye gets better soon. That is so funny with his hollering and scratching at the garage door. The pic Celi posted is so funny. I know you can't wait til Mike gets home. Thanks for the info on the syringes in my condo. I'm anxious to see how this next box holds up. Enjoy the rest of the day. It's in the 70's here and sunny.

Good evening!!!

Gracie has been suring around 150 for hours now. Good girl....nice flat nice flat nice flat. You can come down a bit but no rushing down!!! Flat blue, flat green!!!

I went out to run errands and Mike said that the whole time I was gone, Tobey went from room to room to all my fav spots looking for me..."meow meow meow". He is such a mama's baby boy but boy do I love him!!

Ann: Tobes is much better today.....I got home from running errands, took a nap in the recliner by the fire, and he laid in my lap under the blanket. Talking up a storm as if to say "WHERE did you go...glad you're home...if I sit here, you can't leave". :lol: :lol:

Anne: oh yes...this is MUCH better. Now Zener needs to come down.

I made a big pot of yummy stew for dinner so I'm going to spend time with Mike now. So great to have him home. Have a super evening.

Very nice cycle for Miss Gracie today. Glad to hear that Mike is home and also glad that Tobey is doing a little better. Simon and Tobey sound very similar. When I was gone for Thanksgiving, my DH said Simon just walked from room to room crying for me.

Have a nice, restful night. And please tell Tobey that you are not going to be hanging out in the garage.

Sorry about Tobey's eye, but it sounds like you caught it early, and all will be better soon. Too funny on him looking for you, pawing and meowing. They are such fun.

I just stopped by to get an idea of what your condo/threads are like. I just want to make sure I am understanding...The bounce everyone is referring to yesterday is her "pink" numbers? And was that due to a dose reduction?

Linda mentioned Lysine for people, I didn't know people used it too. It's what I use for my "herpes" kitties too. They haven't had a break out in a long time, though. Thank G-d!
 
:lol: love the story of tobey at the garage door - which would have been good enough but the extra funny part was that you checked for fire! too cute! that's something i'd have done - these critters are smart!!!

glad you got mike home safely! enjoy your evening!
