Well he has a new girlfriend and a new favorite spot. Arabella is gaga for him and if I shut her out of the room so he can eat in peace she tries to knock down the door otherwise they are cuddling on the bed.

And when he wants some alone time he's figured out how to wedge himself in Mariposa's condo. lol

You should see me trying to ear test a 27lbs, 3ft long cat that doesn't want to come out of a condo meant for a 6 month kitten. lol But we got it done.

Mel,

Whew I thought my Andy(GA) was a big cat at 22lbs, but Casey is really a big boy. Is Arabella the little Siamese mix that you guys took in not so long ago. So now you have 3 sugar cats? He seems to be adjusting really well. How is little Mariposa doing?

Yep Arabella is the little siamese mix that we took in right before mom passed away last year.

As far as Mariposa goes...umm..gee I don't think she's fitting in well. Roflmao. But you can judge for yourself these pictures are from last night.

You know... I was thinking that I know two cases where diabetes saved lives. First, because of his diabetes, he is on better food, which will cause him to lose the pounds and he will be so much healthier. Alska may not have made it out of the pound in Baltimore if he had not tested positive for FD at the shelter. As a diabetic, the rescuers could be called. Otherwise, he would have just gone unknown to his death at the shelter. I think about that all the time.

I think any cat is lucky to be at your house. Mariposa exemplifies that in these pictures.
