I think I figured out the morning higher numbers,
I took up one of the food bowls last night leaving less for the rest of the night. So he didn't get to eat early this morning. I think he was getting up with the neibor (before i do) when they made noise and going and eating. Then coming back to bed. Then I was getting up and testing on a food spike.

Last night I limited the amount left out. I think I was leaving too much because I knew we were not home most of this weekend. Now we can get on a more regular scedule.

BAST!!! BAST!!!

I can just see Bast, getting a little early breakfast and climbing back in bed to wait for the next breakfast. These cats seem to have just about every angle figured out don't they? And we got to love 'em for being smart enough to figure it out.

Nice sleuthing on the extra meal action, these cats really know how to get over on us :lol:
